Wow to get the world record medal easily :
1) Go to the New Stages menu in course world
2) There's no 2)
if unoptimized they will be beaten tho
I found a better idea but those world records are mine so sorry
My strategy:
1) Take care of the first clear (if there is one open)
2) Grind out the level and try to find the fastest method of finishing
3) Make sure that you use slopes to your advantage and use corner cuts

Collecting all the medals in this game is a good idea especially for players who want to register more hours into the game 🙌🏽
Yeah well I can tell you now right away Multiplayer Versus and Endless Mode Expert and Up are probably the worst experiences of playing Mario Maker 2 because of sheer volume of troll levels being uploaded. Versus is garbage because it doesnt always give you multiplayer ones and it usually lags most of the time.
Me: I will get all the medals!

On the first 3.5 days of the game I spent over 60 hours making levels and was able to push myself to 1st on maker points all time. Still in 1st now!

That's what it takes! You have to start early! I'm very jealous of you haha but I also know you are working hard to maintain it because of the incredible Maker Point decay at that level. I'm around 7000 and the decay is already real.

I think the fact that some people will have their levels stay at *0 plays* doesn't make these requirements any easier...
The new levels section is behind so it will take a few days for it to get in there, but once it's in there you should get plays
You have to promote your level more. Dont let it collect dust, get people to play it. Friends or small streamers can go a long way. It will get your level drastically played I want to say usually within the 50s and if you're lucky the 100s. Just know if you want people to like or comment, consider the difficulty players trying to beat it and also how much you can do on a creative scale. Comments and likes will get your level even played in Endless Mode.
Also I repeat, Treat the player fairly! You trolling will lead to boos or people skipping your level completion. You can troll as long as it's friendly to the player. I cant tell you how many game overs I got in endless expert over some trolls killing me in the wrong door.

I had a Silver medal on endless normal for two hours then lost it almost straight after. The grind for these things isn't worth it. At least I keep the Rocky Wrench Lid hat though so I'm happy with that.

Presumably the first requirements were just to prevent those who played right when the game came out from immediately getting all the medals? Seems to me that the first requirements will be useless once the game has been out long enough since the second requirement will always be higher (assuming I understood the video correctly)

Same thing with mini pipes in Mario 3 style
Those aren’t unlockable parts. Go to course maker, and change the theme to sky in super Mario world. Take out the semisolid platform. Hold it, and you can change it to the rainbow. Next, for the smb3 mini pipes, you have to switch to the desert or forest theme. Forest is better for making creations out of pipes.

Ty for this really helped me when I was starting to grind and helped me reach 9 medals. I got a bronze medal in easy, normal, expert, and first clears. Silver medal in VS, WRs, and Clears. Gold medal in Super Expert, and a golden ribbon for Maker points all time.

I honestly find it a little ridiculous that they are hiding outfits behind these medals. Most people who want to 100% the game won't be able to.
They can if they have "extreme" patience. Nothing can be done in a day though unless you're famous in the community or just naturally gifted. But as a average player myself, you learn as you play more and start to realize you can do it with some time on your hands.
So the only way for me to get the outfits is to get the highest weekly maker points... And I cant make levels good enough for that :(

Easiest one to get is first clear medal. Everything else requires a lot of grind, skill, and talent.

I really wish I knew about this stuff when I got the game day 1. I really want the top hat, but I don't have the time to complete thousands of courses to get to the top of the leader board :( And while my levels aren't terrible, they're definitely not good enough to get me to the top of the maker point leader board
Borrow ideas. For example in story mode you can learn a lot of things. Have an interesting title and a cool thumbnail too!

Yeah it is factored with the leaderboard system. If you dont maintain your score higher than others then it will disappear and you will have to reclaim it.

Sucks I can't get the first one because people don't play my levels(If you ask me some of them are really difficult)
You must also keep in mind that you can lose maker points if players play your courses, but do not leave any likes, and/or they failed to clear them. A course with a very low clear rate is not good if you want to increase your maker point amount, but at the same time, there's no fun in making courses that require no effort to clear.
@@timothypitcher7996 Oh you lose points for not leaving a like or a comment? Or do you mean when the player has nothing next to their name like a flag or a heart? I guess that makes sense.
@@Daniel328DT A white flag means that you've played the course, but never cleared it. You have to lose at least one life for the flag to appear.
@@timothypitcher7996 I was referring to the more info tab on a level made by me. You know where it displays the red flag for those who've beaten it and/or loved it. I get what you're saying. The only way for me to know that is to see nothing displayed there or if I see their played courses.

I explained clearly you needed to satisfy 2 criteria to earn any medal. Merely achieving 300 course clear is simply not enough, and suffice to say there are people with far more clear than you have.

@@JustinGei You have to be in the top 1000. If the top 1000 is above the minimum requirement for a medal, then the Leaderboards take higher priority, period.

How well designed were your levels? If someone boos your level, it lowers your maker points by a small amount.
Treat the player fairly. Also deleting courses can cause your score to go down too I think.
No, they aren’t bad. I’ve gotten a comments saying so. they’re legitimately courses. I had people saying that my levels should become popular.

You have to be in the top 1000 to get a bronze medal. Refer to the Leaderboards to know who's ranked #1000, as that will give you an idea on what score you need to reach 1000th place. Be advised, however, that the minimum requirement to reach 1000th place pretty much increases every day, so you'd have to play very frequently.
