A nice tour of this terrific nursery. It’s been a while since I purchased some 15 gallon specimens from them, so it was a pleasure to see some of their current stock. Large specimens are the head turners when you’re passing by or visiting a southern California garden. They draw one’s attention and stimulate an interest to explore what else is pleasing in the landscape. Now, in mid-winter the large clumping aloes and tree aloes put on their spectacular floral display , which makes them very eye catching. A minor correction; the Ponytail Palm, Beaucarnia recurvata, “flowers” were actually the attractive reddish-brown seed capsules. Ponytails bloom in late summer. (For those interested in seeing more giant succulents I’ve been focusing on them in my videos.)
That was fun!!!! I love seeing full grown plants!!! So magestic!!! I have some jade in my yard and it does just fine in my wine barrel on the patio! Thanks for sharing Debra!!!
Loved this video & to see the CA countryside! Wow! Didn’t know there was so much open space there. Great to see what full grown cactus & succulents really look like.
Always loved a field trip in school. But that was decades ago. I also love seeing other peoples plants. I live in the Pacific northwest so I must keep my plants in pots so they can be moved in out of the wet and the cold.

dry leaves along the trunk also provide nesting places for birds (and most likely, insects like moths?) This is true of palms here in Arizona.
Beautiful. Sangat menyegarkan liat channel kek gini,..mantap.,

More to come! Yes, lots and lots of open space inland.
I’m with you in admiring large Jade plants. They look like miniature trees. Love that Aloe with the black flowering stems. Thank you for the tour!
You're most welcome! Thank YOU, Jane, for the nice comment.
Wow!!! You make the nicest videos !!! Thank you so much.
Thank you too!
Thanks for taking time to show us around.
Thank you so much Debra for another great upload! :)
You are so welcome!
What kinda butterfly agave is that, kissho kan? Also, of the bigger tree like aloes, are there any that can survive temps down to -8C?
Agave potatorum. -8C = 17F...as far as I know, no landscape aloes will go below the mid-20sF, but I may be mistaken.
@@QueenofSucculents thank you

hej, Debra, I had this idea already to grow succulents to sale, and invest money in that watching how money grows in front my very eyes.
Hola soy de Perú, usted vende semillas de agaves??
No, sorry.
What’s the one at 0:18
Smooth leaves suggest ferox but the horizontal branching marlothii, so I'm guessing a cross. Beautiful specimen!
