The Warden and the Paunch will bring a much anticipated Old World Rework with a massive overhaul to the Greenskins. Outside of the new units the DLC will be adding to the green tide, almost every aspect of the faction is being touched. The brand new scrap mechanic will allow you to customize every single unit in the army, with Legendary Lords granting access to unique upgrades. The New Waaagh! and Waaagh! Armies will allow you to plow through the old world in an unending horde, and the confederation mechanic will ensure you get a massive snowball as you show who is DA BEST!

The best part is that the Greenies have the Norscan confederation mechanic.
Reworked WAAAGH!!!, Scrap Mechanic and this. Also the Arachnarok mount for Great Goblin Shamans. SWEET.
It's only good on lower difficulties - on legendary it's better to wait until late game to confederate

Great info! When you get a chance can you look at the building options for skarsniks starting location to see how that has changed?
I thought I saw big un's with sword and shield in the trailer. Guess that's not the case which would be a shame to not get weapon variations for some of the base units.

Still no works towards the time it takes to go to the next turn on the battlemap wish is about 10minutes on older machines. Will not buy. Advise the same for others.

I love to see the extra differentiation between different lords when it comes to scrap and Waagh!
I've never played Greenskins and probably never will (they just don't interest me), so watching this I feel like some High Elf spy assessing a new threat.

Every race is fun and stupid in their own ways and not having played a race even if they are currently shit, your missing some of the fun of the game.
I felt the same way about High Elves, Vampire Counts and Norsca, but they turned out to be pretty fun when I tried them out of curiosity, the only factions I ended up disliking after trying them were the Dark Elves, Warriors of Chaos, and The Beastmen, even though Beastmen were my favorite faction for the tabletop game. I'd recommend at least giving them a try, especially after this new update, you might like them!
I still think The Warden and the Waaagh or The Prince and the Paunch would've been maybe better titles, but I'm still excited
Whoelsebutquagmire Personally I like the name “The Grim and the Grom” but “The Warden and the Paunch” is fine since it takes their titles in a simple and descriptive way
This reminds me of the Crusades from Medieval 2. Call a Crusade on Jerusalem, assign an army and recruit crusaders as you go. And you can even use the army against other Greenskins! Gorkus Vult! Or Morkus Vult! One of the two!

That new WAAAGH!!! mechanic is great, it’d be cool to see something similar done with brayherds.

As much as I'm loving the DLC content, it's the Greenskins update that I'm most excited for. The Greenskins Mortal Empires campaign is so BORING and outdated. The fact that you need a Tier 3 building to start their tech tree, which is the worst tech tree of the 4 core races of TW 1 prior to May 21st, is frustrating as anything in the game currently. I need the new Waaaaagh so bad and yet my brain is only capable of "waaaa I want the update to come out now!"
RIP early game Empire and TombKings now lol, got to go straight into the mountains/badlands and take out the Greenskins

Between WH2 and MB2 bannerlord staying home hasn't been terrible.
Giant should get "painted skin" as a scrap upgrade option so that he can gain physical resistance to match Wurrzag.
In my last campainge as Gelt I already got flooded with orks after the update that will be even more XD

If I watched and understood the video correctly you can get Feral Wyverns by getting Da Bigga Trophy after successfully finishing a Waaagh. They are one of the six new campaign-only RoR units.
Grimgor's special line has been there for a while.

The ability of the immortalz is nothing like red crested skinks, red crested skinks is just when you activate it. Da immortalz NEVER DIE. THAT ability is always acitive as long as they have over 50% morale. And considering the morale buffs they get, and are immune to psychology their nearly impossible to kill. Again, nothing like the other version thats only active part of the time.
If a unit causes fear it is immune to it, and if a unit causes terror it is immune to terror. So causing both makes them effectively immune to pysch
0.1% of all players finished a greenskins campaign in Mortal empires atm and i am one of them.
I think its funny that more ppl completed the chaos campaign in Mortal empires (0.6% finished a chaos campaign)
I liked the old waagh mechanic more, don't understand why so many complained about it. The new one is too powerful especially with all the new units that comes with the dlc. Between the skaven spam and new greenskins dwarfs will be annihilated every single campaign when controlled by the AI unless autoresolves gets even more fucked up than it already is.
The orc cavalry have lost their bonus against infantry, must be a bug, the tooltip still says anti-infantry, but hover over the damage and no bonus. Until it is fixed, the greenskins are really difficult to play.
Wurzzag's magic resistance remover should be an ability with a cooldown, not a mapwide passive.
Do you know if Feral wyverns have rampage like other Feral units? Also do you know if they plan to make Grimgors skin darker as he appears to have a new model but his skin has gotten a lot lighter more like a normal orc not a black orc.

First thing the mod community is gonna do is making Grimgor his proper color, I'm calling it now. No idea why they decided to make him so frickin neon
Grimgors special skill tree isn't new it's just the first ability that got changed
If they wanted to solve the cheesy issue that you mentioned, they'd have to make it so that you can't go into another faction's territory at all unless you have access or are at war with them. Might make the game a bit messy, but it might make it interesting.
The Immortalz banner actually looks quite different from the Skink version... not time-limited, but Leadership-based. Could be very hard to counter.

16:50 haven't tested it obviously, but could the AI just put it's faction leader in it's capital and send wave after wave of stack after you?

They said Eltharion would start in the badlands, while also owning tor yvresse. I guess thats his starting point. Before you said thats OP, tor yvresse is a ruin at the start.
Finally, the order tide will be replaced with a new tide.. The Green tide.
I rather fight the green tide than the ordertide and in particular the confederated dwarfs :D
Something to bring up about WAAAAAAAGHS, you still pay upkeep for the waaaagh units, so if you arent making money when you call to WAAAAAAGH, you are going to need to raise a bunch of settlements in order to not go bankrupt. Also, if you successfully complete your WAAAAAAAAGH, you dont drop to the negative in the meter, you just go back to the base. You only go negative if you call da boys to WAAAAAAGH and then get krumpd like a git
Dumb question but has anyone ever took something else with Norsca (or will take with Greenskins) than the confederation ?
I honestly think they should buff the other options more, like making them your vassal if you keep them alive and/or give you a buff if you execute the enemy lord.
I mean who would ever execute another legendary lord over playing it himself except for roleplaying reasons perhaps.

Okay, now that i played i confirmed my fears.
As of this patch the dwarves are the weakest race in the campaign. They get annihilated by Grimgor way to quickly.
In 9 of 10 of my campaigns as no dwarve faction all their major factions were gone prior to Archeons arrival. No joke, i checked.

The Ability to allow the AI to control reinforcement army should be available to EVERY reinforcement, I'm always baffled about why CA won't allow that option.

I love the greenskins and this great new rework! However I'm curious if their have been any changes to the existing high elf units. With all the new stuff it makes me curious if CA did any work on the White Lions of Chrace. If it's not something you can look into now, I'd be super interested to know next week when you start going through all of the new DLC content. Thanks for all of your hard work!

So pumped for the changes. Greenskins is probably the faction I play the most, so this is a dream come true. Skarsnik's Death Juice sounds like poison that stacks atop other poison, meaning you can upgrade Night Goblin poison.

Do the Waaagh armies cost upkeep or not? I've seen a couple of people say that they do but your income here improved.
So here's the story on that, when we first received the DLC they did. It has since been patched away and they no longer do :)
