I’ve noticed with secular music, it’s hypnotic and replays in my head. Yet christian music fills my soul and doesn’t replay excessively 👀 The secular music and negative voices fade after a while. And God comes through so fresh and bright🌄
Yesss but one thing I am struggling with is the fact that I used to listen to secular music so much, that it is now engraved into my head and it would randomly start playing in my head ,even when I’m praying😢

We remember the things that we look at or listen to the most, so the more you fill yourself up with Him the more the things of this world will fade away (Galatians 5:16)
Very true I relocated from Cali to Texas 2 years ago. And I've not been listening to any secular music except for a Playlist I made of music I grew up listening to while my mother cleaned her house. All old school Stevie Wonder, EW&F, Phoebe Snow, stuff like that. But for the most part I listen to what I call Country Christian Pop music. And your absolutely right. I don't catch onto the lyrics as fast because they don't play the same song every hour on the hour. It doesn't put me in a hypnotic trance. And it gives me a better feeling. I'm not suffering road rage, I'm not feeling hurried or anxious. I love it !
I think people are mixing manifestations with the power of the tongue . And they’re trying to speak as if they already have what they’re asking for, but not realizing it’s God that delivers it. So I would love for you to dive even deeper into that 😮💨🫶🏽 Love you Debs 💕
Deborah all I can say is that you are indeed blessed. Your revelations of the word of God and the way you are able to articulate things so clearly and powerfully is amazing to see. I struggled for years after narcissistic abuse most of my life and I didn’t understand why evil people “seemed to” prosper and why it appeared that God had allowed me to be tortured by people who seemed untouchable. Keep teaching us older people things we didn’t clearly understand until you explained it. Especially the part about how the devil works to keep his followers prosperous so they don’t call on God. When you spoke on menifesting and the movie scene about the "jail cell" (I think that was from "God's Not Dead"?), it reminds me of Psalm 73, a psalm of Asaph when he pondered why the wicked prosper while he gets "nothing but trouble all day long" (NLT version). In essence, we cannot manifest anything; God is omniprescent and He can give and take away the things we now possess in our homes. Instead, I pray that as a reminder we look to Jesus as He's in control and He knows what we desire in our hearts.

I feel the SAME way about my job. A lot of my co-workers are into witchcraft and all those things that involve divination, along with using substances and other things. A huge thing at my job is gossip, as well. It feels very uncomfortable, to say the least, and I’m ready to leave. Been praying and will continue to pray for direction and clarity because although it was a blessing at first, it seems now like it’s time to move on. Especially since every day I’ve been getting more and more uncomfortable and feeling mentally drained.

Absolutely love this. The movie with the old lady scene is God’s Not Dead (2014). I have this scene forever imprinted in my brain. It really stuck with me as a young Christian.
You know what God has told me while I was at school because I was worrying I’ve been discouraging myself thinking I can't get into them big nice colleges but God has me thinking like this because I believe I could and people around me don't understand that but he told me (When it comes to God your not going to be thinking small but big and people will look at you crazy but God is not a small God he’s a big God who does big things)

I remember reading a quote some time ago in a book I was reading. I don't remember the books name. I believe its name is "Christ Object lesson" by Ellen White. But a quote in the book stood out to me and it has been an encouragement to me ever since I've read the quote. It says "it is only in appearance that evil wins". It is very encouraging to know that not only does evil not profit (in the long run anyways) but it won't always persist. It will come to an end one day as you right said, when Jesus comes back.
I really like how beautifully and eloquently you gave us your thoughts on manifestation. Manifestation is such a big scam of the devil. Same goes for meditation which always brought only bouts of anxiety for me never peace and even less any useful insight.

I feel the SAME way about my job. A lot of my co-workers are into witchcraft and all those things that involve divination, along with using substances and other things. A huge thing at my job is gossip, as well. It feels very uncomfortable, to say the least, and I’m ready to leave. Been praying and will continue to pray for direction and clarity because although it was a blessing at first, it seems now like it’s time to move on. Especially since every day I’ve been getting more and more uncomfortable and feeling mentally drained.
Yesss I can relate to this so much sis!! I will be praying for you also. That the Lord will give the both of us clarity on if and when to leave. He knows our situations. He knows about the finances and the struggles. In the mean time continue to be a light in your workplace! Walk out of gossip conversations and keep doing the work. Jesus is with us 🤍🤍

You know what God has told me while I was at school because I was worrying I’ve been discouraging myself thinking I can't get into them big nice colleges but God has me thinking like this because I believe I could and people around me don't understand that but he told me (When it comes to God your not going to be thinking small but big and people will look at you crazy but God is not a small God he’s a big God who does big things)

I remember reading a quote some time ago in a book I was reading. I don't remember the books name. I believe its name is "Christ Object lesson" by Ellen White. But a quote in the book stood out to me and it has been an encouragement to me ever since I've read the quote. It says "it is only in appearance that evil wins". It is very encouraging to know that not only does evil not profit (in the long run anyways) but it won't always persist. It will come to an end one day as you right said, when Jesus comes back.
