Your black rock might be galena. If so, you now have a lead mine. That is some awesome gold and you are absolutely correct about it not traveling far. All the geology you found looks like you're in the middle of the deposit. All that rusty quartz, pyrite, and galena... yup, you're on it alright. By the way, the girl hats are nice... but the girls are awesome! I really enjoyed today's video. Thanks!
Jeff is always so excited out with his marvelous family panning gold, all fine proteges of the amazing Dan Hurd. And afterwards enjoying a campfire meal! Every prospecting video, Julia has such a happy smile on a prospecting adventure.
Jeff and rose love from USA Georgia thanks for bringing my family along you need your need the dream mat girls your smiles are like sunshine just beautiful thanks for letting us come along Jeff thumbs up
Hiya Gridlessness Family 🖐 Holy steepness 😮. And absolutely beautiful to see the wonders of nature. I really enjoyed this video. Y'all have found the right spot for finding the good stuff. Love the hat Rose👍👍. Congrats on the gold and other goodies. Looking forward to seeing more adventures with y'all. Stay safe beautiful people. God Bless y'all 🙏✌❤😊
Amazing family ,,,one day you will find a tresure,,believe me coz you are taking care of your family ,, I love your life style ,,freedom with nature👌🌹🖐️
Another AWESOME Video. But a hint, on those really step hills, (Clift's) a 2 to 1 mechanical advantage rope system would make life going up so much easier with all that gold, and really cool rocks.
Panning for gold is rewarding$$$ But You Have hit it rich already : with a beautiful wife and amazing girls!!👍I thoroughly enjoy your channel and lifestyle of homesteading👍 Thank you! B Deacon Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦
You need to build a few of Dan Hurd's crevice suckers, he has a video. I'd reduce the business end down to 1/2 inch pipe though. The same concept works well for clams. It looks like you had a bag full of fun, thanks for sharing.
I think you guys are awesome continue the good work your family works hard together and I love watching your videos God bless Sandra from south Mississippi I truly love you
Got to look closely when you have that much quartz, I have a couple thumb sized pieces here that have gold flecks all through them, came from Alaska. One of these days when pulling apart those rocks you may be in for a surprise. Of course then you have the "go big or go home" moment, no way of just casually chipping the flecks out by hand, so you kind of look around you, take in the beauty of the place, and quietly put the rocks back.
Find you a large rock that would be in the center of the flow when the creek floods and is just downstream of the shoreline of a "cut", meaning the water flow is eroding the bank. Look there digging on the downstream side of that rock! That's where placer "free gold" gets deposeted in a flood.
You will learn more from Jeff William's video's concerning gold . Great to see the fun , true quality time & experience you and your family share . Thank you for sharing that with us .
I'm watching you all climb down that canyon wall, and thinking that it's going to be awfully hard to climb back up with all the gold you guys are going to find!!!
Jeff that is some juicy looking rock the quartz is sugary the green in malachite lots of heat//alteration took place on that creek. Id recommend getting a prospectors mortar and pistol crush up some samples and roast the fines in a tin can on a Coleman stove etc. pan out the results. I made a living Hard Rock prospecting in Manitoba/Saskatchewan/NW Ontario I take it you staked that ground for at least recreation purposes. Wish i was there to share the excitement, you will definitely find gold all thru that formation. There is probably Zinc and maybe Galena mixed in with the iron Formation The white quartz looks like a good host for gold to be stuck along the contact with the Rust. Good Luck looks like you have a nice little fun spot to enjoy with the family.
Hi guys. We hope all is well. Where is Dave? We are worried you have had a falling out. Please, bring back "Hot Dave" to the show. You are so great together. Love you guys. Leandro and Christie sending a xoxo from Melbourne, Australia.
I saw my bucket of what seemed to be 75% of pure Gold...but this was at an operating Gold mine in Timmins ON, 4 or 5 years ago, and the 'Bucket' was a 2-1/2 yard scoop tram bucket. This was the most gold that I ever saw in 43 years of underground mining, other than the time I was allowed to hold a 50 pound gold bar at the now closed underground Dome Mine, again in Timmins ON.
Hay ya'll . great video! I think you should have the girls build you a Dolly pot and crush that Quarts. I think you will find some free mill gold in there. You're close to the mother load !
If rose dug the hole and gold was found there, wouldn’t that be considered the “mother lode” ? LOL
lol
No, Rose Gold
I.e. ..."MOTHER'S Lode"!!
I'm right here!
We needed you man!
@@Gridlessness waiting your next video
Love ur videos wish there was more
Dan the man
Extra tangible gold $$$$ ain't never bad, but Rose and Jeff, y'all already hit the big gold nugget and that's your family. Be safe and stay blessed.
Be safe? From what? Bears?

I thought about Galena but it really doesn’t feel very heavy. I should measure the density......
Graphite is light weight and will streak your fingers when rubbed, you are correct it is graphite. Great video!
Could it be argentiferous?
@@Gridlessness Obsidian. Or "dragonglass" for modern people haha !

Hey don't forget to pan the moss. Dan did it a ways back and pulled gold from it.
you guys really enjoy your life...great family...and soon to be rich family with your own gold mine...stay safe guys
If Rose found the gold, that would definitely make it the most precious Rose Gold. Not quite as beautiful or rare as the finder but still precious.
I think Rose is Jeff’s ultimate nugget. Great video.
Yes "ROSE GOLD" love it.👀🤔🤠⛏🌵

Yep, I’d love to.
A stone saw would be nice to cut the large rocks into 1/2 inch slabs and sell them or make jewelry of some sort. Great finds 👍👍.

If it is graphite, just test it with battery and let diode or lamp. Graphite is conductive.
Hey Jim, if you crush that quartz rock, you might find some gold in it.

Okay no more sugar or Red Bull for him the night before a trip 😁
