- In today's vlog we head to Disney Springs for a look at the new Cirque Du Soleil scenes they've added to the Drawn To Life show. We got to preview the new acts and I think it'll be such a great addition to the show. Then do a quick update around the Springs as we make our way to Wine Bar George to try the new season food items. It was a great day and we hope you had fun hanging out with us today! I saw Drawn to Life this past November. I was blown away!!!! I've always been a Cirque fan and have seen many shows and this was by far my favorite. It was so beautiful I was crying at times. Always in awe of these incredibly talented performers!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

I love how the musicians are up high on the sides of the stage, I forgot about that (saw La Nouba way back in 2011!) Cirque is currently running their annual show in Toronto and I can see their beautiful tent from my condo!
Loved seeing the new parts of Cirque. They’re great additions. I saw the the show in Dec when I was over last year, nearly didn’t go as it was the end of my trip but treated myself on the last night. I’ve seen a few different cirque shows and Drawn to Life is most definitely my favourite.
We will be seeing this soon!!

The Cirque shows are so good! I like the theme/concept for this one.
The best part of cirque du soliel drawn to life were the clowns and all the pantomime and audience interactions. So funny and heartwarming. A true art ❤❤❤
Tim, every Cirque du Soleil show has a live band. And the music is wrapped around the actual performance. And it takes a few months and maybe even a year to get the music to coincide with the performance. It's an amazing collaboration but it finally Works itself out.

Hey Tim!! Love you guys. When we visit from NJ we do our family tradition dinner at Splitsville and the sushi is our favorite.🍣 Coming back in July. Hopefully we will see you in the parks.
Since we live outside of Las Vegas we have several Cirque Du Soleil shows so Tim come out to Vegas and watch our shows when Mommy and the boys can travel.

I’ve been to over 10 different Cirque du Soleil shows, but I’m not feeling this one for some reason. I’ll give it a try though, maybe next month when I visit for Tron.

I saw the show when I was there in January and it was absolutely stunning, highly recommend.
I love Cirque. The way they are incorporating the drawing of the cell’s and the history behind it is awesome! I love how your learning a story within Circus Arts.
I do have a criticism/ critique though.
I am a gymnast, and taught for many years. I also did Circus training, specializing in aerial work, and also taught a bit. I had plans to apply for Cirque, but I could not move to Canada during the Summer. I still hope to do it though 💁♀️.
My critique to the performers to only help you improve, if you see this. And to others who do not do this stuff to understand better ✌️
The first ground group was not show ready at all. There skills are fantastic, and only people really who have tried it and truly know how much work, strength(especially), and practice it takes to perfect those moves will understand.
Watching though, there moves are not clean and crisp right now. Lots of bent body parts when they should not be.
They are not all in sync as they should be. Barely pointing toes or straight arms :/
I’m not sure if this was a short preview show(which then I get it not being show ready), but if it was a regular full show, that group of performers need to practice much more.
The Lyra(Hoop) aerialists appeared to have much crisper and clean lines. I do hope there portion is longer though. The clip we saw was a very simple set.
The aerial “flippers” at the top were cool, but could also be a bit cleaner.
I do hope the show goes well, but please, get your standard level’s back up. It’s worth it ✌️🌻

13:33 There is an ice cream shop in CT here that has sweet corn ice cream and it is literally my favorite ice cream ever. Ironically just before I watched this, I saw the ice cream place is opening for the season tomorrow, though usually the sweet corn is not out until the end of summer!

Can I ask about your use of plastic cutlery please? You visit the parks regularly to taste test, so I wondered whether you could promote plastic reduction to help the environment via the use of reusable cutlery that you could carry with you? Many thanks for your continued updates... excellent as always.
They usually have reusable cutlery that clips to their bag.

We are going to WDW at the end of May and we were trying to decide if it was worth the $80 a person. Does anyone here have any opinions on that? We are going to celebrate our engagement, so we really want it to be special, but also need the save money for the wedding 😂

If you love live entertainment, I recommend watching shows in Epcot or the Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom. They're included with your park ticket and you could skip Drawn to Life and save the money for something else.
