Here's my two cents as a fan of Disney Animation, I love this show! There's so many details they included about the animation pipeline that they combined with acrobatics so beautifully.
I don't want to get into spoiler territory, but I loved how they captured Julie's (the girl protagonist) journey as an artist. They captured those feelings so well. The show is very much a love letter to both artforms, I recommend anyone to give it a chance.
Ellie is born for the stage. I hope the show does well, it has taken them so long to get it open because of Covid.

That would depend on the 5 year old. It’s 90 minutes with no intermission. It has TONS of visually stimulating things to keep a child’s interest. I did see kids that young there also.
