Great content. I like to run and I start the habit of eating two apples right after my running and my sleep improved a lot. Thanks for confirming how important it is to eat a fruit right after exercise. I just finished your book, it an excellent book I love it!

I noticed this trend, in the raw vegan world, where eating less possible seams to be the way to go. This does not work for me…

I dislike it when non-vegans come on a vegan channel to talk crap in the comments. Why? If you care so much, start your own channel and share your dietary philosophies on your own channel and if you are cut from the “I must discount other people to make my voice be heard” mode of operation then do it on your channel 🙄😒
    Keep your low vibes elsewhere.

Thank you Doug for this explanation. 🙏 Oh… It did concerned me a bit. It seems that I have been making a mistake for the past decade 😬
I always do my fitness first thing when I wake up, and have been training every single morning for the last 20 years, but kept my first meal of the day at lunch time - some 4 hours after training since I am just never hungry before well after noon. Usually 2-3 PM 🤦‍♀️
So this was a huge mistake? 🥺

My first step towards a carnivore diet was the vegan diet :) When your health fails remember to try eating only animal products for about a month and see if your health improves and if you are coming from a "healthy" vegetable diet, look up oxalate dumping before you start.

Well, the standard Western diet doesn't work because it's nutrient deficient and loaded with toxic stuff. A traditional diet on the other hand has loads of nutrients, especially fat soluble vitamins A, D, K2 and lots of minerals like calcium in raw milk and zinc in oysters etc., in the best bioavailable form. Humans need fat. Especially saturated fat.
Eating low fat raw vegan, high fruit for more than 3 years pretty much destroyed my health, Doug. And I was the heaviest and most depressed as a fruitarian, although I was eating mostly watermelon and I was active. My metabolism was suffering so much.
I was wondering just yesterday, how your daughter is doing, I hope she is okay...
And if you are curious what all the native peoples of this world have always been eating to be healthy, check out Weston A. Price's work.
Veganism is slow suicide, raw veganism/fruitarianism is an accelerated version of that suicide.

Traditional Hunter gatherers from tribes rarely make it into 70s however the hunza tribe has many centenarians and they are 90-95% plant based
