Very awesome, those ESS kits are the real deal for S550's , she sound so damn good, great to see Black Mamba back!! Awesome job by HPR, they are the real deal too.
Nice to see the Mamba back. I've did a little research regarding the ESS supercharger vs a ProCharger. ESS started in Finland recently moving to the US. From testing. It appears the ProCharger drivers more consistent horsepower than the ESS which is less expensive than the ProCharger. Regarding the S650 Dark Horse. Lethal Performance and Ken from Palm Beach Dyno teamed up installing a Whipple on a stock Gen 4 Coyote using stock exhaust and running 93 octane pump gas with no fuel additives that produced 755 rear wheel horsepower. So you don't have to wait. Add a Whipple to your stock Dark Horse and add over 250 rear wheel horsepower.

You never disappoint, and that ESS really sounds nice. I used to only think about Whipple style superchargers but that ESS is making me think differently. 🤩
@Fury5.010r prochagers carb kit mounts the same way as the ess kit. Anytime you add a sc to an engine you are adding the chance of snapping a crank. Multiple people with whipple and edlebrock sc have broken their cranks. There are more procharger kits out there than anything else and are cheaper so that's why you hear more about procharger snapping cranks
@@csr801996 prochargers are certainly not cheaper. ESS does not utilize the belt system the same way procharger does this making it easier on the crank snout.
@Fury5.010r I mean they are the cheaper option to whipple, not comparing to ess. And BTW if you price them against each other (procharger vs ess) the ess isn't that much cheaper. There is alot of hate on procharger cause there are way more of them out there therfore you hear more problems. Look at cleetus he snapped a crank on his f150, can't remember if it's a whipple or edlebrock
@Fury5.010r if you look at the prochargers carb kit it is almost identical, they both use a longer serpentine belt and both kits don't have an additional pulley on the crank like the stage 2 kit does. Take a second look at both kits
