Remember that Kirk Lazarus IS a METHOD ACTOR to the extreme. So if you remember the “Satan’s Alley” fake trailer from the beginning of the movie, you know full well that he really delved into that role and LIVED it! Lolz 😂 I think that inference that “it’s Hollywood- everyone’s gay once in a while!” was lost on much of the audience.

I had a roommate in my 20s who came out to us. However, we all knew he was gay already we were just waiting till he felt comfortable telling us. Didn't change a thing...he still is and will always be my friend.
My older sister had an emotional moment when she came out to me as gay during a long car ride together and my was “yeah, I know. Mom knows, dad knows, we’ve just been waiting for your to realize.”
RDJ killed his role, that was not an easy roll to play and make it real funny, but he did an awesome job with it. And there was just so much other great talent in this movie, Jack Black was great also
