This is a great tool for binding! It may depend on how light your cordless iron is. If it’s a heavier weight like a typical iron, it should be okay. If you’re using the Panasonic 360 degrees Freestyle Cordless iron, that may be too light, as we found ours wiggling a bit. The raised sides of the mat will ensure the iron doesn’t glide off the mat, but it may be a bit more wiggly than you’d like. - Abby

It will depend on the Oliso model you have. The TG800, TG1050, TG1100, TG1200, TG1250 or TG1600 models should have a "lock" function, near the cord, according to Oliso. -Michelle

@@DeeKay-66 Look on the end of it. Mine has a small slide bar that will stop it from popping up if you don’t want it to.
