Birmingham band The Fortunes had several hits back in the Sixties and Seventies, often composed by the Greenaway- Cooke duo. This song (also written by Greenaway and Cooke) is a lesser known track by the boys - partly because it was only released in the USA and Canada. A 1972 release with Rod Allen on lead vocals. The girl in the video image is US model, Lora Lee.

Never heard this one before, but the great harmonies of the Fortunes makes it very listenable . Great catch Victor.
