I've watched the first and second episodes, especially the first one, over countless times since they've came out. They are a huge source of inspiration for me. I am so glad to see a third one come out.
Just voice it yourself! That or use friends/ family. I know that's easier said than done, but it's free and I've done it myself.😂 That, orrr use casting call club, it's a website for amateur voice actors and it's a great place to look for people that are willing to help without pay, cuz they are just looking to home their skills
I've decided a bit ago that I'd take my first episode that I was busy animating, and turn portions of it into a comic. Basically, the dialogue and set-up scenes will be in comic form whilst the animation will be strictly reserved for fight scenes and emotional scenes. As I am just one person.
I’m working on a short TMNT fan animation i already have sound effects, I made the music needed, a finished script, and VA it’s been a fun process so far. CANT WAIT TI START ANIMATING!
I have so much to learn:,D first time when i got amazed by how some stories you make could come real i was like: hm it should be easy, and even till now i can't get a Simple anatomy for characters.-. then i got told 2 weeks ago that none draws frame by frame anymore (I DEFINTELLY DID NOT TRIED THAT AND QUESTIONED MYSELF WHY IT WAS NOT WORKING OUT HAHA) aaand i just recently got recommended this channel to watch so i got a bit more faith thst with enought practice i can learn
This is awesome!!!!! Ive been working on my short film for 3 1/2 years so far!!! Im still in pre-production but my goal is to finish the storyboards by my birthday so i can begin the anamatic!!
I have done a two shorts in the past, a lot of which I really could have used this advice at the time! The next time I am getting into animations (which is after the project I am on, now) I will rewatch and take some notes.
This really came at the right time.... was putting off making an animatic I've wanted to do for a while, but felt like I wasn't good enough to do it yet. But I'll take this as a sign to begin
I managed to do the preproduction wrong even if I did the give the right advice and I learned to just make more planning but starting from 0 made me a lot more comfortable with planning afterwards more😅 So it is possible to just do rough storyboard of the first episode and do the first worst episode and to go from there :) but I would suggest having a topic or a theme if you go that route to be more comfortable. But if you are not a procrastinator like me just listen to Sebastian, I look up to him!
This couldn't have come out at a more perfect time man like we already know their is gonna be that big boom with indie animators and new companies makin shows and this is just some rlly narly advice for like keeping the workflow!! btw I do have a question if u dont minddd, how did you end up with your script with like a moving plot? I tend to love script writing very loony toony scenarios (like cartoon physics fighting stuff) but often have trouble connecting the scenes together into a whole like, episode with character motives attached. (Like it feels more like a compilation of scenes rather than a episode you'd sit down to watch, or just like one of those older cartoons with no plot just shenanigan's) Struggling with the flow or just the main plot idea of characters or attaching them to their character traits, what is their goal? Their motives? and how dose that continue the "bigger" plot forward (Questions I ask then fumble to answer) , any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Ur videos really help me in my art progress and though I have done about 8 short films. I want to try and do something of better quality this year. Wish me luck
Thank you SO MUCH for making this video, I have always wanted to make my own animation series! But, what's the best animation program to use for long animations? This video is awesome though keep up the good work!
I don't know how this happens but getting into something like that has been on my mind and just yesterday somebody suggested I turn one of my stories into some form of a cartoon which I have never done.
I aspire to make my own series, but I don't know where to start. For now, I'm just trying little tidbit animations in hopes I build the skill to produce something longer.

Animating the series is something I can do. But finding VAs when you have no money on the other hand... 😅
Do something what hollow knight or other indie games do. Make you own
How does one go about that? The only way I can substitute the absence of a VA is through AI recreations.@@heyreefes

Casting Club is pretty good for finding VAs on next to no/no budget ^^
@@heyreefes Hi can you tell me more about this. Like how do they make their own, like whats the process?
You uploaded this video in the most perfect time for me, I was just about to start working on my project!

How much I needed a better understanding of how to make a animated series.
I hope this year I do more projects that actually pays my needs.
