I am enjoying these for the most part but you NEED to fix those audio issues where your review commentary is barely distinguishable from in-game/stream audio. Otherwise good job.
no, not good job. if u make a nice cake and fucking SHIT in the middle of it, even tho ur shit doesnt touch all the cake, and even if it the best god damn cake on planet mars, u still WONT EAT IT and No1 wants to.
If you can record your game audio separate from your stream audio that would be great for when you have to go back to the reviews then you can just cut the whole voice track out unless you need it to sell a point.
Games like this are the games Delrith should be doing more reviews on. Games which angryjoe will never touch or overlooks so many good games never get so much as a mention on the angryjoeshow.
That's the whole reason why Dell has been brought in. People get all bitchy when they do rapid fire reviews but the truth they don't seem to get is that Joe just cannot realistically do a full review for every game. So in comes Dell to "Take Over" all the rapid fire reviews. This allows Joe to focus on more full reviews while still putting out reviews he just cannot get to.
I like his overall but Del has very... particular opinions. He falls into the common gamer trope of "The best thing is the best and everything else is suboptimal and therefor sheit" too often. A number of his assertions are just not factually accurate here, or are only that way because of his specific playstyle.
"You can even become a space pirate and there's an entire slew of things you can only do if you are an evil bastard." ...that's a bold faced lie. Sure, you can attack the main factions. But only on the behest of other main factions or the local planetary government, not your own and not that of pirates. You can have a BACKGROUND of once having been a pirate, but aside from a few dialogue options (which by the way have zero impact on the linear campaign), said background adds nothing to the actual gameplay. I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm a hundred hours into the fucking game. I'm loving it. But if Del wants to be a big boy reviewer, he needs to do his fucking homework.
The AC20 makes sense stability damage-wise, also for breaching shot spec'd pilots. The missles also being RNG'd per missle have a couple of points. HBS made it so the first missle from each volley can hit the head. If that first missle fails, no head damage will occur. The missles being RNG'd on each one vs the whole battery is actually gimping their damage due to the fact that they'll scatter over the mech instead of all hitting the same spot.

TLDR: some interesting points about the game, but the audio is complete shit. Not a regular viewer and I'm not one of the people shitting on Delrith for not being Joe, but I must say the audio editing in this video is horrid. You are talking over a video that has talking and SCREAMING in it at a similar volume, not even muting the parts that have that. You're also blowing into the microphone all the time. It's really basic stuff and this is a high-profile channel. Either get new footage, or mute the old one. That makes the video feel like something you just wanted to get over with as quickly as possible. On the other hand, not sure I can blame you with all the negativity these videos are getting. Then again, sloppy editing probably isn't going to help with that. Also take a constructive tip from a fellow youtuber - try positioning your microphone at a 30-45 degree angle to the face and a bit to the sde, so the air from your mouth doesn't hit it - this way you'll avoid the effect of blowing into the microphone. This method works better than a pop filter. As for the review itself, you make some good points, but the bad audio, sadly, completely ruins it. I'd redo it if I was you. One more thing regarding the balance stuff - LRM are the best right now, but the strength of AC20 is not the damage per weight and whatnot - missiles will hit all over the enemy mech, while all of that AC20 damage will go into a single part, often destroying it in one hit. Agreed on the AC20 bit. LRM boating is a pain in the ass and part of it is due to the well pointed fact that your pilot gets injured from a head hit which sucks. Regarding boating smaller weapons vs a large one, this game is a bit too generous with ranges for once but still, if you equip 2 medium lasers, you will deal 50 dmg spread over 2 areas most of the time and you have to make to rolls to hit. A PPC will do 50 damage on one component and will be more accurate to boot so there is a game of give and take. In TT you have players which like both sides. I tend to stick with bigger guns as I find them generally to be more efficient but it does suck when you miss that big shot and the other guy now has the initiative. On the other hand, when an AC20 shot lands and rips the enemy's mech head off, that is awesome!
aye , nothing here that cant be fixed in the future , plus id rather have some coverage of these lower profile games than none. which is what we would get if del wasnt doing these i would wager.
2 different style's of gaming videos 1 a review the other a playthrough the quality production wise is still similar he was providing constructive criticism which is rare to see on youtube so unless you have some helpful tips for Taureor just pipe down Slapy.
Attention? I won't say as much... Look at the comments? There is maybe 1% of the people that talks about the game, all the rest is here complaining about Del, about Rapid Fire Reviews and about Joe that is a bitch blablabla. I'm sure that between all the views and the keyboard warriors, not a lot of them actually looked at the game / actually care.
97,000 views in comparison to 877 comments? come on bruh use your head, the comments don't even make up a fraction of the people that actually saw this video
Far from useless, but also fun as well. The Highlander can easily fit two AC 20's on it, with room to spare for a few other things, like jump jets. With a good mechwarrior with high tactics rating it is extremely powerful.
FatFreelce You're right. It's Del, an employee of the AngryJoe Show. The sooner the uneducated hotdogs, like yourself, understand that the AngryJoe show is an entity and not a person, the sooner you'll stop looking like a degenerate on the internet! :)
Lach McQueen like a degenerate because I watch The Angry Joe show because I like Joe? I don't have to like everything about The Angry Joe Show. Meanie.
Man the AJS community gets triggered so easily. This review probably wouldn't even exist if Del hadn't taken the time to make it cause Joe is such a busy man.
If a missile hits your hull, but still shakes the cockpit, your pilot can get injured. That's how physics works. So I get why pilots get hurt while overall mech damage is low.
This is the first rapid fire video I’ve watched on this channel, and I’m so glad that Joe got this guy a spot on his channel. He has great input and rather than having competing channels for viewership, I like to see some cooperation. Makes the channel even more unique then it already is.
Decent review, but I find some of your criticism misplaced. Especially concerning game balance. For instance, the supposed uselessness of AC/20: The ability to destroy one or two parts per shot is on-par with the alternative of a higher but more spread-out DPS.
Yeah missiles are good for stab damage and general wear (or massive damage to a Precision Strike) but dear god AC/20's annihilate parts and whole mechs quickly.
I am loving my Battletech. For the price point its a great game and who does not like big robots (Battlemechs) stomping on vehicles and shooting a ton of LRMs and med lasers at an enemy?
"The Ac/20 doesn't even make sense to use from a damage standpoint." ...yes it does. It deals all that 100 damage focused into a single location, rather than spreading it all over the enemy like missiles do. That's what makes big weapon systems strong. The ability to deal focused damage. Sure, you can get 14 medium lasers for the same tonnage as a single AC/20, which deal vastly more damage. But aside from the fact that the most energy hardpoints any mech has is 8, those 14 lasers are going to overheat you instantly AND their damage will be spread out all over the enemy mech, rather than focusing on a single location. Which has pros and cons! Many medium lasers have a higher chance of scoring a headshot! But that single AC/20 is going to simply take out that whole location it hits.
Long time subscriber and we need more of these, don't listen to the hate and dislikes... These are amazing for in between full reviews! Just keep up the badassness.
Qui ingreditur viam prudentiae that is a valid point sir but, I didnt say don't listen to criticism and whether they are valid or not are of course people's opinion, which is fine. Imho I think we've seen and heard alot of del's opinions these past few years that rhyme with Joe's and mine, so I love more of this but, to not listen to critisim is like you said ignorant... I'm only saying don't listen to the hate in the comments that have no validty. I know that we can both agree that sometimes joes comment section isn't filled with the most valid or at least most respectful of opinions right?
Qui ingreditur viam prudentiae Well sir, I'm here to tell you that I have no problems with your opinion, though I disagree and feel like content from a different but, mirrored perspective that doesn't take away from Joe's time and schedule is awesome, I can see where you are coming from and I don't consider it hate of any kind and I am a fan of joe as I suspect you are. My comment about the hate does not involve honest opinions like yours or mine.
Qui ingreditur viam prudentiae I agree wholeheartedly my friend, these kinds of respectful discussions have the power to change the world IF they are utilized properly. I also agree that Joe and the crew really do need to listen to these and other valid criticisms, pitches and anything else that comes from an honest love for the content because without us he wouldn't be here. When the Angry Joe drama was at its peak i almost unsubbed because what he was doing literally hurt my heart but, I stuck around to see how it would unfold and to throw my 2 cents in when I felt it could've been used. Now let me ask you, do you feel since the drama that joe has changed at all or has he continued on? He has been updating us alot more then he used to I think at least and trying to involve us more in terms of scheduling but, what do you think?
My whole gripe with this game is that the premise is that you're in command of a mercenary company with the capacity to hold multiple lances of mechs and over 20 pilots but you can only field 4....still loving the game though >.
It's a great game for mech lovers everywhere! Well, if you like xcom esque strategy games anyway. I've already gotten 3 people killed, and almost drove me and my fellow mercenaries to the brink of bankruptcy more than once. The bebop crew would be proud
Except it's turned into a one-person crusade against all binary people thanks to the dev being a transgender who uses the game as their weapon in their ranting crusade on twitter. :(
+Isnogood12 Care to elaborate on that? I've been playing for well over 40 hours so far and found absolutely no sign of what you mention. Unless you call adding the option for the neutral 'they' pronoun to be a crusade against binary people?
"it scratched my paint but my pilot got hurt".... This is the most honest statement about BattleTech that I have ever heard... every fucking mission, every single time... I have just come to accept the fact that one or more of my pilots will always come out injured for at least 12 days, easily the most frustrating thing about the game, that and missing a 95% chance to hit.
I genuinely enjoy these shorter reviews in between the big Angry Joe videos. The only thing that I would change is what a few others have also mentioned in the comments, and that's muting the video playing in the background while you're talking, at least when the video also has you speaking. Apart from that, I think these are great reviews.
This year? Dragonball FIghterZ, Metal Gear Survive, Sea of Thieves and God of War, so basically a big review every month, with these rapid fire reviews filling in the gaps between.
Well, that's the funny thing about nuance. Things don't actually have to be flawless for them to be great, and giving constructive criticism regarding what is essentially a technical detail related to voice levels rather than the actual content of the review isn't exactly a major complaint. I'm sure one day you'll realize this as well if you try really hard.
I can at least say that the overkill huge AC/20 is valued by being all the damage in one spot which is very valuable for actually breaking and disabling enemies. All the lesser weapons being stacked spreads the damage.
Two things learned, like in X-Com: 1) 90% is not 100% 2) 5 Evasion pips do not mean you can't get sent to hospital for 40 days by a lucky head shot. Otherwise: F***ing great game!
Speaking on the AC/20 specifically, and high damage weapons in general - being able to strip armor off or even destroy a single component in one shot is powerful. Much more powerful when combined with a maneuverable/Jump Jet equipped Mech landing in a rear arch. Currently running around w/ an Enforcer (50 tonner) with 4 JJ, an AC/20, and a few Medium Lasers. If I absolutely need to kill something, jet him right behind the enemy and Precision Strike the rear CT. You can kill anything short of the heaviest, most armored mechs this way. You get limited salvage because you cored the Mech, but that's fine in some situations. It's also usually an insta-kill on heavy vehicles, of course.
Del rocks. But knowing Joe loves giant robots and x-com turn based strategy games, thought Battletech would have been given the full Angry Joe review. Guess he has alot on his plate right now. Again Del rocks!^^
This game is addicting as hell once you get the hang of it. I had to restart the damn campaign 3 times before I started to figure out what I was doing. Once you get past the initial learning curve and make it to the Argo the game starts to get a lot better. Side note be sure to turn off combat animations in settings if you pick this one up. Otherwise each battle will stretch out for 2 hours and some of the fights are long enough as is.
Yeah, I get that Delrith also wants to do some reviews and stuff, and I gotta admit they're not bad, but this is the AngryJoeShow. We want to see Angry Joe! We want him to dress up in a goofy looking costume and let him scream 4 FUCKING HOURS. That's the main viewing pleasure of this channel, but this is obviously a letdown from the quality that we're used to. If you want to do some reviews yourself, Del, why not consider creating your own channel. In this way, you don't get all that hate.
Thank you for covering this game! It is my favorite franchise! And I love the game! Also: Flashpoint DLC is out. And the free 1.4 version update and improves alot!0
Your audio from the game where you are talking is a bit too loud. It is distracting from the actual review. Interesting game, I love turn-based games like these (XCOM) but the review quality needs improvement by lowering the background audio of your stream. Thank you for the review Del :)
Nice review Del, but remember to mute the audio from the gameplay or else your or Other Joe's voice ecchoes in the background and it is really distracting.
Funny that Joe does the same thing and no one says anything. He does lower the volume, but we can still hear him, and hearing two identical voices at the same time, is annoying as hell.
I dont understand why people keep disliking. Sure, Dell is not AngryJoe, but would you rather have no videoes? The full AJ review take a long ass time so he cant just pop those out every day, so this is what we get as an additon so the channel doesnt feel dead when theres not much to review or their working on it. Stop crying and stop disliking, it effects AJ as well, idiots.
The audio needs a serious work. Del, you can't leave both of you speaking at the same time. When you're addressing your frustration let the clip roll and be quiet, then resume talking when that clip is done.
Most of the problems mentioned here and not problems. The only issue I have is longer than normal load times at the start of a mission. Not knowing if the difficulty of a mission will spike makes every mission more fun. Losing a pilot or mech isn’t a game over. The story is great. Large weapons like the AC 20 do all their damage to a single component so you don’t do “wasted damage”. My verdict is a 9 out of 10 just under Xcom 2 WOTC.
I upgraded my rig to play this game and I was not disappointed. This game has ruled my free time for over a week now. And yes, the RNG aspect of the game is even more brutal than it is in X-com, but I still love it.
P.S.: No evidence but from gathered VODs on Twitch and the amount of time actually dedicated to the game, I highly doubt this game was even close to finished before a review got released, which is a bit unusual tbh. In fact many have seemingly forgotten it entirely at this point, as streams seemingly stick with MWO and other games like GoW. After the last 60+ hours in-game I can honestly say it has impressed me quite a bit and I feel like a bunch of progress is still available to me to explore. The comments about Pilot injuries and RNG issues really fall off the side after the first few missions and you get established, and even help immensely in harder difficulty missions when you take advantage of this. Weapon issues aren't really a thing because each one has it's perks. Hell, even after losing Mechwarriors to my cause, I still felt like the game never truly deserved much criticism, outside the optimization issues that will most likely be dealt with in time. Really great game imo.
Nice review Delrith, sorry to see so many sore viewers in the comment, but I suppose it's only natural for people to resist change from the ordinary. My only tip, as others have suggested, is that you should significantly lower or remove the audio from your gameplay clips. Or perhaps only include clips featuring gameplay and sound effects without verbal audio so we can distinguish when it's you talking live during the review. Otherwise, like I said, great review. I've seen this game all over Steam lately, and you've sealed in my decision to give it a try.
Gnome Lord it's not being sore if we wanted his review we would go to his channel which he has not made yet for his reviews this is angry Joe show review channel not derilith
It is being sore. Angry Joe already made it clear that this channel is no longer exclusive to just AAA game reviews, it's not a difficult concept to grasp. It may be called the "Angry Joe Show", but like any good show, it's composed of multiple members and supporting cast. You act like Rapid Fire reviews make some huge difference on your life, when they don't. It's literally just additional content to keep us busy between major videos, it's not like Joe says "Oh, new Rapid Fire Review is out? Guess I can stop working!". If you don't want to see Delrith, don't click on Delrith. But coming over here and getting peeved at him for something he is paid to do for the show is just silly and a waste of your energy.
Gnome Lord I always think of dell as the voice of an in flight safety demo. his voice is so boring and unenthusiastic "When the seat belt sign illuminates, you must fasten your seat belt. Insert the metal fittings one into the other, and tighten by pulling on the loose end of the strap. To release your seat belt, lift the upper portion of the buckle. We suggest that you keep your seat belt fastened throughout the flight, as we may experience turbulence. There are several emergency exits on this aircraft Please take a few moments now to locate your nearest exit. In some cases, your nearest exit may be behind you. If we need to evacuate the aircraft, floor-level lighting will guide you towards the exit. Doors can be opened by moving the handle in the direction of the arrow. Each door is equipped with an inflatable slide which may also be detached and used as a life raft. Oxygen and the air pressure are always being monitored. In the event of a decompression, an oxygen mask will automatically appear in front of you. To start the flow of oxygen, pull the mask towards you. Place it firmly over your nose and mouth, secure the elastic band behind your head, and breathe normally. Although the bag does not inflate, oxygen is flowing to the mask. If you are travelling with a child or someone who requires assistance, secure your mask on first, and then assist the other person. Keep your mask on until a uniformed crew member advises you to remove it. In the event of an emergency, please assume the bracing position. (Lean forward with your hands on top of your head and your elbows against your thighs. Ensure your feet are flat on the floor.) A life vest is located in a pouch under your seat or between the armrests. When instructed to do so, open the plastic pouch and remove the vest. Slip it over your head. Pass the straps around your waist and adjust at the front. To inflate the vest, pull firmly on the red cord, only when leaving the aircraft. If you need to refill the vest, blow into the mouthpieces. Use the whistle and light to attract attention. (Also, your seat bottom cushion can be used as a flotation device. Pull the cushion from the seat, slip your arms into the straps, and hug the cushion to your chest.) At this time, your portable electronic devices must be set to ‘airplane’ mode until an announcement is made upon arrival. We remind you that this is a non-smoking flight. Tampering with, disabling, or destroying the smoke detectors located in the lavatories is prohibited by law. You will find this and all the other safety information in the card located in the seat pocket in front of you. We strongly suggest you read it before take-off. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our crew members. We wish you all an enjoyable flight.” 8/10
Gnome Lord see you say that but you miss the fact that it should have fucking dells name on the title Joe did one of these rapid fire reviews once and I am hoping he will come back and make another if the vidoe title had Dell rapid fire or some hint it's not Joe we would not click this video and stay away from it
The gameplay footage's volume is too low for me to make out any of the in-game sound effects. Meanwhile the screaming is constant and very noticeable, yet still somehow muffled enough to not remain coherent at all. Especially when it coincides with the reviewer talking. If you want to have live player reactions in the review, stop talking while they're happening and just let the gameplay clip play out. If the gameplay clip is there simply for the visuals, either play only the game sounds or mute the clip altogether.
Thank you for this review Del! I know you're thorough enough and play skill is high enough that your rapid reviews are results of almost complete mastery of the game you're reviewing. Keep em coming!
what the hell is wrong with peoples? why so many dislike? Del rapid fire review is just a very good content, he's honest and give even more details than Joe does, and depsite, Joe just review God of War few days ago, i think this is a good combination, Joe do a review for AAA, Del do a rapid review for game like this.
This reminds me of an old game called Cyberstorm. Me and my friend used to play it for hours back in the Windows 95 days lol. I never found anything like it. I’m gonna have to check this game out!
Constructive criticism: This is honestly a great review but I literally can't watch it because of the audio mixing in some places, just take out the background audio, or maybe let it play by itself for a minute. With that change, this would be great.
good job del, you have improved a lot, but there are still issues with the sound mixing, the background audio is way too loud and there were a couple of moments when your voice cuts a but abruptly, also a couple of lines that may have been worth a re-record; however your writing and presentation have improved noticeably, keep up the good work
Remember when Joe wasn't busy with low budget/effort movie reviews and didn't outsource his reviews to Del? Del needs his own channel for these so Joe doesn't reap the benefits of his friend's efforts.
Chill your tits, its NOT THAT BAD!
I could perfectly follow it though?
blauer haze I would definitely eat it
If you can record your game audio separate from your stream audio that would be great for when you have to go back to the reviews then you can just cut the whole voice track out unless you need it to sell a point.
Games like this are the games Delrith should be doing more reviews on. Games which angryjoe will never touch or overlooks so many good games never get so much as a mention on the angryjoeshow.
Finally someone can see the good side, joe is kind of a casual so this type of games get overlooked
That's the whole reason why Dell has been brought in. People get all bitchy when they do rapid fire reviews but the truth they don't seem to get is that Joe just cannot realistically do a full review for every game. He has to play the game an then spend days on shooting and more time editing, this means that realistically only a small fraction of the games that come out will get full video reviews.

A number of his assertions are just not factually accurate here, or are only that way because of his specific playstyle.
Jeo actually probably would like this game. But he just cant do all of them. He takes spotlight games Delrith can take other stuff.
Honestly Joe can't do every game. He does games hes interested in. Games suggested by his audience,(usually the bad ones). Or games that are hype.
Perhaps it's best to mute the audio of the game footage entirely since it clashes with the review voice-over.

Alfonso Montoya Beta much?
Dell writes 8 minute script for game review...
Doesn't mute the audio of the video he is talking over...
Comment section cries...
Doesnt mute the audio of the video he is talking over because its not disruptive in these levels anyway.
Yeah it can be prett- OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
It's funny because Joe doesn't mute the videos he talks over either in most of the angry reviews I've seen.
It doesn't matter. Have you seen his previous videos? He can mute it all he wants, there will still be a massive amount of dislikes because 'reasons'.
Its ok im here I will I protect you from the cancer
Your background voice is still too loud IMO and it's hard to hear you at times. Do you need any background sound at all? Other than that great review
Hard to hear? you have some special selective hearing or just bad headphones.
Good job but that screaming in the backround is annoying af.
Yeah no, the screaming in the background was the worst. He should just not have the audio playing in the background.
play this game and you will then see what annoying really is. most unbalanced crap
The screaming was there to demonstrate his frustration for the RNG.
Agreed
The funny thing is the background noise is his own annoying voice lol
"You can even become a space pirate and there's an entire slew of things you can only do if you are an evil bastard."

AC20 is useless?
*Laughs in Bulwarked Hunchback*
NephyrisX , and my brawler Centurion as well :D.
Far from useless, but also fun as well. The Highlander can easily fit two AC 20's on it, with room to spare for a few other things, like jump jets. With a good mechwarrior with high tactics rating it is extremely powerful.
*tips hat in Urbanmech*
Jesus, everyone is so mean to Delrith's rapid fire reviews. You all just got a great normal review for God of War, chill out!
SaintHeartwing because it's not joe. So simple
FatFreelce You're right. It's Del, an employee of the AngryJoe Show. The sooner the uneducated hotdogs, like yourself, understand that the AngryJoe show is an entity and not a person, the sooner you'll stop looking like a degenerate on the internet!
:)
SaintHeartwing its because it isnt joe
Lach McQueen wow angry defender much
Lach McQueen like a degenerate because I watch The Angry Joe show because I like Joe? I don't have to like everything about The Angry Joe Show. Meanie.
Man the AJS community gets triggered so easily. This review probably wouldn't even exist if Del hadn't taken the time to make it cause Joe is such a busy man.
headbite alien cause he's boring. For me i wouldn't mind other joe to do these reviews but from what I'm told, they are both busy.
Joe: Oh hey I love RPGs and strategy games!
(Doesn't review any of the RPGs or strategy games)
Looks like the Angry guy is a movie reviewer now.
“This week on comment Wars...”
If a missile hits your hull, but still shakes the cockpit, your pilot can get injured. That's how physics works. So I get why pilots get hurt while overall mech damage is low.
Am I the only one that would rather have Other Joe do reviews than Delrith?
Nope. I really do not like that fat fk at all.
This is the first rapid fire video I’ve watched on this channel, and I’m so glad that Joe got this guy a spot on his channel. He has great input and rather than having competing channels for viewership, I like to see some cooperation. Makes the channel even more unique then it already is.
Mute the background video ffs
del writes the script and joe does the voice over boom everybody happy
Decent review, but I find some of your criticism misplaced. Especially concerning game balance. For instance, the supposed uselessness of AC/20: The ability to destroy one or two parts per shot is on-par with the alternative of a higher but more spread-out DPS.
And a AC/20 and PPC also do stability damage which make them great for making enemy mechs fall down and getting easier called shots on them!
AC/20 are nasty as hell
Preach it brother, a couple AC/20 shots to the leg are worth 10 srm 6's
Yeah missiles are good for stab damage and general wear (or massive damage to a Precision Strike) but dear god AC/20's annihilate parts and whole mechs quickly.
I LOVE PPC. I put guy with it to back and constantly snipe stuff.
Del's got more reviews on here than joe.
I am loving my Battletech. For the price point its a great game and who does not like big robots (Battlemechs) stomping on vehicles and shooting a ton of LRMs and med lasers at an enemy?
Warning! Shut down imminent!
"The Ac/20 doesn't even make sense to use from a damage standpoint."
...yes it does.
But that single AC/20 is going to simply take out that whole location it hits.
zerg0s expose hiiim
Isnogood12 ????? Really? Well, that being stupid aside, the game itself is good
This game remind me more of Front Mission.
+Isnogood12 Care to elaborate on that? I've been playing for well over 40 hours so far and found absolutely no sign of what you mention. Unless you call adding the option for the neutral 'they' pronoun to be a crusade against binary people?
I'm convinced I'm the only person who likes occasional rapid fire reviews
My favorite part of the review is Delrith talking over Delrith.
When u start to trust Del reviews a lil more than Joes
Darashiva what big angry joe videos lol
I love the reviews but PLEASE lower the audio in the background.
I'm early, here's a joke:
EA
Delrith is a *bigger* joke
Ok ea jokes are fucking unfunny get a life
Al Capwned so original
Awe, poor Barn.
Al Capwned , jokes are funny. EA isn't. They're EAvil.
Not even a rapid fire review for Far Cry 5?
You need serious montage work Del, but again thank you for the review
>Great houses
Is referring to the periphery
>Side factions
Is referring to the inner sphere
K.
Joe just quit the channel already and let your friends do your work for you. At this point they bring more content than you do anyway...
I can at least say that the overkill huge AC/20 is valued by being all the damage in one spot which is very valuable for actually breaking and disabling enemies. All the lesser weapons being stacked spreads the damage.
Two things learned, like in X-Com:
1) 90% is not 100%
2) 5 Evasion pips do not mean you can't get sent to hospital for 40 days by a lucky head shot.
Did the kickstarter for this game and was not disappointed. Live Battletech going way back the the FASA days. Very true to the boardgame.
foreground delrith is speaking praise... back ground delrith is yelling at the random head shots we all fuckin loathe
Well, THIS video game is developed by who he says it is. The original game from the early 80's, was created by FASA (who is sadly out of business).
Really good review man! You're personality is really coming out in these later rapid fire reviews. Keep being your quirky self :)
Del's reaction to SRM carriers sounds about right. 10 SRM6 is no joke and demands respect.
Now that Front Mission is dead, I was very excited to learn about this a few weeks ago and I'm generally happy with the game.
Pro: The hollering is hilarious.
Con: You sometimes holler right over the review.
Conclusion: Inject pauses where you can holler in peace!
You were thinking about scrapping a Jenner when you had a Spider as your light choice!?!? Maddness! Jenner is death on swift legs.
Your audio from the game where you are talking is a bit too loud. It is distracting from the actual review. Interesting game, I love turn-based games like these (XCOM) but the review quality needs improvement by lowering the background audio of your stream. Thank you for the review Del :)
Gotta say , i like old reviews and jokes but these short ones are realy good because of their shortness vs information.
Nice review Del, but remember to mute the audio from the gameplay or else your or Other Joe's voice ecchoes in the background and it is really distracting.
Funny that Joe does the same thing and no one says anything. He does lower the volume, but we can still hear him, and hearing two identical voices at the same time, is annoying as hell.
hahaha him ranging in the background of the video while talking calmly is amazing
"Battle tech is a turn-based..." *closes video*
thx for the review del. much love to all of u
Love it Del!!
Though I do agree, turn down the background audio a bit more. maybe by 50%?
Otherwise love your reviews! :D
This game looks so interesting it took me several minutes before I realized it was not AngryJoe talking
They should just call them Delrith Reviews
Joe is killing his channel lol
The background noise is extremely annoying.
Oh I'd love a full review but
But still! Great work my dood
I love these reviews! You need your own channel bro!
The audio made me laugh a lot. good review
Gnome Lord
I always think of dell as the voice of an in flight safety demo. his voice is so boring and unenthusiastic
"When the seat belt sign illuminates, you must fasten your seat belt.

Pull the cushion from the seat, slip your arms into the straps, and hug the cushion to your chest.)

You will find this and all the other safety information in the card located in the seat pocket in front of you. We strongly suggest you read it before take-off. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our crew members. We wish you all an enjoyable flight.”
8/10
Gnome Lord see you say that but you miss the fact that it should have fucking dells name on the title Joe did one of these rapid fire reviews once and I am hoping he will come back and make another if the vidoe title had Dell rapid fire or some hint it's not Joe we would not click this video and stay away from it
Kevin Mcg that made my day and the fact he recommended ac origins lol like what the fuck Joe would never do that the shit games support loot boxes
I'm currently hooked on Into The Breach, another turn based mech strategy, so even with a few flaws Battletech looks right up my street.
Sold!
Doesnt AJ quality control these before release? (Audio)
I hate that people dislike Del’s video reviews.
Nothing will ever beat Front Mission 3 for my turn-based mech game.
Harebrained? They did Shadowrun Returns?
That and Shadowrun: Dragonfall. They're basically FASA game studios at this point.
Thank you for this review Del! I know you're thorough enough and play skill is high enough that your rapid reviews are results of almost complete mastery of the game you're reviewing. Keep em coming!
Cool! Always loved the FASA Battletech & Mechwarrior tabletops over the years...this game looks pretty neat! House Davion forever!
thank you Delrith, at least someone is working in this channel...
Now you've got me craving for a new front mission game
Turn based robots fighting each other? Man this just reminded of Front Mission instead. 3 is the game of my childhood, played it till the end :)
what the hell is wrong with peoples? why so many dislike?
Del rapid fire review is just a very good content, he's honest and give even more details than Joe does, and depsite, Joe just review God of War few days ago, i think this is a good combination, Joe do a review for AAA, Del do a rapid review for game like this.
Wow this Rapid Fire review is getting better and better.
This reminds me of an old game called Cyberstorm. Me and my friend used to play it for hours back in the Windows 95 days lol. I never found anything like it. I’m gonna have to check this game out!
Constructive criticism:
This is honestly a great review but I literally can't watch it because of the audio mixing in some places, just take out the background audio, or maybe let it play by itself for a minute. With that change, this would be great.
Wtf, it's hard to hear Del's commentary over the game/voice chat audio. What noob edited this?
The description says this is Galactic Civilizations.
you can hear the rage in the interview
On my wishlist, but waiting a bit to see what they might fix/patch. Thanks for this.
Please do Frostpunk next. The game is so underrated right now and seriously need more attention.
I really hope we get some mods that change either the skin of mechs or adds parts to the game of mechs from other games and movies.
good job del, you have improved a lot, but there are still issues with the sound mixing, the background audio is way too loud and there were a couple of moments when your voice cuts a but abruptly, also a couple of lines that may have been worth a re-record; however your writing and presentation have improved noticeably, keep up the good work
Remember when Joe wasn't busy with low budget/effort movie reviews and didn't outsource his reviews to Del? Del needs his own channel for these so Joe doesn't reap the benefits of his friend's efforts.
I don't usually like Delrith's reviews, but I appreciate that he took the time to review this one. You can bring more of this from him.
