I guess most guys in this comment section are tone deaf or have difficulties noticing the huge disparity in the sounds beacuse of the overpressure in their skulls built up by overhyping. Those sounds are greatly flattened, and noowhere close to recordings.

Now this is the way to go! For my personal gaming experience, proper sound design is one of the key factors and I really hope you get the chance to upgrade the older sound libraries as well. Just the other day, I found a clip of an M4A3E2 driving around and oh boy, those petrol V8's sound wonderful! Good luck!

Awesome. I love the effort you're putting into your vehicles. I'd love it if you could create one or several single player games that use your engine and assets. I can just imagine a grand, cinematic campaign.

not that you can hear the engine sound because a building falling down 10m away or artillery falling is making more sound than anything else in the game
ikr, they care about the specific sounds after changing the sounds that fuk up the game play because i can hear friendly tanks 5 blocks away through sky scrapers n sht, can't hear my own engine or enemy but they jump through literal hoops to get real sounds while the actual game play is trash wtf man
So you think gaijin dont have money to do both? If the developers don't get every single game glitch in this huge ass game fixed, it isn't the sound department fault lol

When you realise how much work does it take to make the free part of WarThunder you sometimes can't even be mad at Gaijin for doing all of this money-focused stuff
Of course they deserve to earn money but they try to to this by tormenting players with atrocious grind . try to make players spent money out of frustration. for example no free repair kit fpe no stock apdsfs. if game is fun people would spend money anyway.. also player base would grow larger. instead now people rage quiting because of grind. more players more money for gaijin.

idk the ingame sounds are just off, you can clearly hear it in the ingame footage when you have heard the IRL ones. there is a reason why sound mods exists sadly

They already did it. There's an old video, wich shows a bunch of tanks. It's called "the sounds of war thunder" or something
This is part and parcel of game creation. Although, not everyone has the opportunity to go direct to the source material ^^

Warthunder when they see a country that didnt lose tanks in combat so sound is easy to record: Its free real estate.
