Also Gaijin: Says that the SAV with it’s 120mm, 1.2s autoloading gun, is perfectly balanced at 3.7.
The PNolandS I was having fun in 3.7 then the first SAV showed up it not only shoots fast it made it to our spawn fast. I seen the shots and figured anything shooting that fast didn’t have a big gun so I stuck my head out and got blasted so did the rest of my team he was spawn camping in the first min of the battle. Now I’m back down to playing 2.3
After a month of good sales they will nerf it.
The PNolandS i know SAV through Wot and i have to admit, it’s a very dangerous TD although it doesn’t have autoload system but when i heard it has 120mm autoload gun....

@@Donari They are in no way op. First they are bugged right now, only 3 degrees of gun depressiona nd elevation, super jiggly aiming and you can set them on fire all the time by just igniting the fuel tanks in the sidehull. Super op...yeah.

"challenging" isn't really the word I'd use for something that will absolutely decimate anything in one hit. I think "fun" is more appropriate.

Hi! I love the new units! Im from Sweden, (so sry for my bad English) and if you want to you can just say S T R V, just each letter one after one. STRV stands for the swedish word of tank: “Stridsvagn”. In the Swedish SAV 20.12.48 stands the “Sav” for “StormArtilleriVagn” ore what you rather would call it, some sort of an “assault-artillery- carrage- model”. Love the new units!

It's crazy that I could survive better in that tank than in the main battle tank because of how much empty space there is in it. without HE or a frontal hit, most AP rounds just go through it harmlessly.
Only problem is that there's not enough ammo in storage unless you have good trigger discipline with full-auto.
fix the RP system! I hate having to spend 5 years on the game and still not being able to reach teir 5.
Swedish air tree is pretty good right now, there's only a few planes so the grind is relatively simple. Made it to J21R with no bonuses.
I have only been playing war thunder for 600 hours and I allready have a tier 5 tank while I have never bought a vehicle and just play casually. If you just grind a bit and maybe get better, you will easily get to tier 5.
I have tier 5 and I've been playing for a year. Unless you spread out your gameplay to all nations you should be able to finish at least 2 tech trees in 5 years.
Play arcade tanks it's more fun and faster because of the fast matchmaking

And for pay to win with premiums, yeah I know (at 7.7 comparing a Obj 120 with more then 400 mm to my T-54s 239 mm PEN is not equal even when taking amour into account) premiums give you a boost but I'd rather like to save money and accept it to loose a fight against a premium heli hovering with its ATGMs.
But I can play a great game, with great vehicles and yes, can win without paying anything (especially low tier - for me it's even more fun than the MBT battles) - so in conclusion, its not a pay to win for me, but as you pay you get advantages.
If you upset about that, quit your job and invest the time in practicing - so you can compensate for this payment advantages that have other players with their mighty credit card guns.
How is a system that is in place for years pay to win out of nowhere? You always had to buy yourself into a new nation when it is firstly released.

Ah yes, I've always wanted to play in a tank that's "Unusual and challenging", Sounds like barrels of fun.
It actually is very fun to use, although it's pretty much required to not bring any higher BR tank than it with you, because when the enemies start penetrating the front, it's not that fun anymore.
It does punch like crazy when you get hits though.

Strv 103-0 aiming system is broken again. Its elevation and depression is less than it actually is, and the hull aiming was better on the dev server.

@@AmogusInMyWalls E100 had hull and turret in physical. Gaijin joined it. Kranvagen did not have a physical turret made. The only way is making a Kranvagen hull(which exists) and mating it with a AMX 50 turret which, like the E100, was never put together but both were designed to work.
mfw a tier 1 tank has a sabot round with over 100mm of pen.
This may be a bit late, but it is bloody amazing, it can 1 shot tanks at 2.3 (T-28s and shermans) and will easily flank around the enemy and can reverse at speeds of 12mph

But it is balanced. Yes the SAV has a super fast fire rate but that is all it has going for it because it's very easy to kill
Easy to kill? Are you having a laugh? The SAV can eat rounds from the 17pdr when it should be immediately hullbroken. Unless it is distracted it is absolute suicide to engage frontally cause it will send 5 120mm shells into you faster than you can even get your gun on target, and it's not likely that you will flank one cause they're so bloody fast that they get into all of the best spots on the map and they come in like groups of 3 so even if you kill 1 another 2 will pound your ass back to the hanger. It is incredibly broken and OP at 3.7 so it either needs to be moved up to around 5.0 or it needs to have it's reload time or pen nerfed significantly
@@untruewalrus1323 well you must be getting lucky then because I usually get one-shotted when I'm in it and the pen can be unreliable at times. I mean earlier today I hit a panzer three with three shells and all it did was scratch the paint and then he one shot me

I think you should add the Swedish Fleet, with Ragnar-class destroyers like the Ragnar, Oden-class Costal Defense Ships like the Thor, and other Swedish Ships.
Will you add a later version of the Strv 81 with the ERA armour or will it be an upgrade feature? also Id be great if you add more versions of the Strv 103, maybe early prototypes or even the final 103 D variant that only existed as a prototype just to help add a bit more to the already impressive tree. Ive heard of a lot of blueprint tanks that the swedes never tested, hopefully with all that in the air that we'll see much more content for the Swedish Nation!
I personally like the Ikv class of tanks. The Ikv 72 or Ikv 73 i cant remember is pretty good for its br and the Ikv 103 has 400mm of penetration so anything you come across is dunzo. Mostly

The strv 103 was made for narrow woodland, could dig itself down with only the barrel visible to ambush the enemy. The accuracy under movement was not very good for tanks those days. So the lack of turret was the Swedish choice. Hydraulics was mounted instead. I lowed being around this mighty machines at I19/P5, Boden.
I w went on a one-man or I should say tank rampage destroyed seven vehicles three of them were German and the rest were swedish and oh my God I was pissing off whole bunch of people. But I love the new sounds. Really adds tension to the game. Thanks Gaijin

Fix Swedish Tier 2 and 3 ground tree, after playing the two tiers, its summarily unplayable as soon as both tiers get uptiered. None of the offensive capability can pen any weak points of any tanks. The Strv m/42 cant fight Shermans, T-34s and Panzers IV F1s, the shells cant pen any of the frontal weak point of the tanks.
It is mostly the case when getting uptiered. Some weeks ago I could ram my mouse into the LCD because of facing 8.7 BR games so often with my new researched T-54 that can't pen any of these MBTs in the front.
I have to take a lot of punishment - but then I getting the right tactic to play these and then I compete in the battle.
So, please don't make sweden even better - just look at the statistics in some weeks and then adjust the BRs.
Play a different nation like Britain which has armor, but low speed and learn the battlefields you're on. also learn to predict where the enemy is going to rush and pray you aren't facing germans AND russians, or russians AND americans.
Optimally, you should play sweden as an ambush-only, so if you want to get more kills, either stick very close to allies in a convoy, or flank to the REALLY far edges of the map to scout or line up a shot on the side of a tank that didn't see you.
I just broke my mouse trying to get through Swedish low tiers. Also considering recent events, I guess I’ll take a break from the game and wait to buy a mouse.
Fun fact: the strv stands for ”stridsvagn” wich means tank so basically its stridsvagn 103 and theyre new swedish tanks are normal names for example ”leo, emil”

It's only for a short period. They will unlock the tree during the next patch.
the tech tree is in a closed beta testing stage at the moment so once its out of the CBT it will be accessible to everyone. You can also get tester stars by playing the game and once you get 12 of them you will have access to the nation for free.

@@syn1x939 I think a star is for every 5 games you win with a activity percentage of 70% or more. It has to be ground battles with a RANK III vehicle or up.
