You are a life saver! I've only been playing a couple days and stupidity took a potato harvest contract without knowing how much work it would be. All I saw was the $89k payday. One semi load per 4% of the contract. Now I can set up a worker to run the truck and I can go off and work on my farm. Thanks so much!

found my issue. been having trouble wiht the tractor or truck not unloading combine. but just noticed you had to check the box next to the combine name. i feel dumb lol.
Would the tractor unloading course also work if I was driving the harvester? Or does the harvester also have to be on a course. Would like to be able to drive the harvester myself and automate a chaser
Normally i Like to drive the combiner by my self and leav grain cart running by Courseplay. In this version i can´t get Courseplay to work. It is not driving to empty the combine. Do you have any idee what is wrong?
I was looking for exactly the same. Just saw this in manual. Manual driving the combine is not supported yet, as we have a communication between the combine and the unloader. So I am driving combine until full, grab the trailer and unload, then send the tractor on it's way to the grain dropoff. Not ideal but better than doing both parts myself.
Can you please help me... I have 2 combines running and 2 tractors; 1 for each combine. Neither tractor wants to unload the combines and just sit at the start point and do nothing. I don't know what to do to get them to automatically go and unload the combine

Hmm interesting, it should still work, the new version isn't so fundamentally different that it wouldn't work, but I'll check it out, and if it needs changing I'll certainly look at it.
@@TheFarmSimGuy ok so after a whole lot of trial and error, I think I fixed one problem. My issue seems to be setting related. If you want the tractor to move to the combine to unload it, make sure that the self unload setting on the combine is set to DISABLED. Only activate this setting if you want the combine to move to a parked tractor to unload. I thought that the self unload setting was used if you want the combine to UNLOAD itSELF when the tractor drove up to it.

Hey Javier, I would say it does the job 100 times better thana. standard helper, it can still sometimes get confused, but overall a huge improvement on the in-game helpers. and yes it does still charge you a fee, but this is adjustable much like in-game. Keep an eye out for a tutorial coming very soon! 👍

Thanks. I find courseplay works well with a combine with the pipe on the left and a single trailer offloaded. However from my experience things do not work so well with a combine with a pipe on the right (potatoes or sugarbeet ) and a double trailer offloader. With the latter I find collisions with the two vehicles a frequent occurrence and with emptying the produce, only the rear-most trailer emptying when the trigger point is met.
Hey Keith, thanks for the comment, yup totally agree with the trailer thing, dual trailers and dual hopper trailers like the Wilson Pacesetter definitely don’t work, I’ve learned that the hard way 😂 thanks for the tip on sugarbeet and potatoes, not crops I tend to harvest as they take waaay too long (I’m not over my potato contractor on Purbeck valley yet!)
@The FarmSim Guy I know what you mean. I just completed a potato contract and though it was essentially worth 54k, it took 8 hours to harvest. Plus side, I got an additional 19k worth of crops as a bonus.
@@TheFarmSimGuy Potatoes and sugarbeet (and cotton too) make great profits. But I agree, harvesting them is a terrible long lasting job. But is one of the best jobs for CP. I do the setup and let CP play along while I'm doing some nice jobs.
So how do you get the combine to automatically request the trailer ...I made the path from field to silo and have the trailer at the feild and the combine is the trailer knows to search for this specific combine but the combine is full and e trailer Is doing nothing I click request driver nothing happens
Hi Peter, it sounds like you have done everything right, was the combine full before you set up the course ? Sometimes it can be a bit buggy if that’s happened. And the other thing to do is to get the tractor to drive the course once (even if he’s empty) and when it returns to the field it triggers it. Good luck 👍🏻
Yeah I had him drive the course once and then I manually just kind of emptied the combine and then when the next time they combine needed emptying the trailer went over
By setting the route, did you do a full stop for about 5 sec. at the unloading point? And was the unloading point of the cart above the trigger? Made the mistake myself, not stopping at the the unloading trigger and also once the end of the trailer was just outside the dock so the trailer couldn't unload.
@@cyber2526 I'm not that well with the mod that I could give you a solution. Those two things I mentioned before are the most common problems with the setup (and the problems I once had). Sometimes it would work if you take another cart or trailer. Got the mod working by now?
@@cyber2526 Give it another try with the latest update of CP. They are releasing an update almost every week. And yes, sometimes a mod just won't work properly with that specific cart you chose or the map you're playing at. Anyway, happy farming ;-)
Hopefully you see this comment. I’m having problems with once the combine is unloaded my tractors don’t back up out of the way of the combine so they run into eachother all the time. Any idea why this is?
Hmm im not sure, have you trie a different combine/tractor combo, sometime some mods don't work as well as others, that could be a good place to start.
Hey man I was using the John deere tractor with 3 wheels when attempting this and the tractor just keeps running I to the header and getting stuck. Is there a way to move the tractor path out so that it dosent get so close to the combine? Also any recommendations on a combine mod with a longer pipe?
@@TheFarmSimGuy I'm gonna change to a smaller tractor when I get off work and see if it helps but I'm using a big header I just thought courseplay would calculate the sizes automatically. And I used that John deere combine at first and it would keep telling me it needed u loaded when it was only like 20% full

Courseplay is great except the empty combine and offload. WHY is it not great ? Cause the tractor does not wait enough after full to let combine clear the are so the overloader can turn and go for semis. Instead it get entangled. Wait I minute???? can I use the wait thingy???? Talking FS15 courseplay now. Anyways no need to shell out any money for the other versions. FS15 added forestry and was a big release. No need to buy the others. I am systems programmer and I will buy another FS version when they bring the automation that mods try provide. The reason there are automation mods is because FS is lacking. And I buy another FS when they have automation built in.

Use Autodrive mod in combination with Course play.. for empty the combines and transport/load/unload stuff. It works better than courseplay for transporting stuff around.. and is not bugged like the course play and use much,much less PC resurces. No you need the combine on the course so the unload course can locate it (I think!) I know Autodrive can run to the combine while you drive it.

No it should find it itself, try running the transport course once (send it to the unload pointa and back) and it should kick in.

In courseplay set the priority to unload (it’s in one of the menus) sorry not at my computer at the moment
It can also be a bit temperamental, the other option is to take it to the combine, let it unload manually and then start the course

I've not tried that with Courseplay, but in Autodrive you can run multiple trailers

No I think the combine needs to be on a course to be detected by the tractor. Autodrive can though

No unfortunately the combine needs to be automated too, the tractor looks for the combine course as a reference

Try the John Deere 790 with the longer pipe, have you tried a different tractor, it might just be that mod
