How to Program Cable remote 1056B01

Worked for my Toshiba 13A21... actually changes from TV to the AV input. Other universal remotes I tried so far wouldn't do that.

Have you tried programming that remote to control a Bu Ray player? I've got a new LG BD670 3D blu ray player I'm trying to program to the remote under the "DVD" button. The remote won't let me use the "ok/select" button on ANYTHING but the cable, even when the other buttons work with the LG codes given in the manual. Every time I press that button the "CBL" button blinks, even if I'm in the dvd menu. It's getting very frustrating...

I did it, after the TV turned off, I pressed SETUP to save the code and I can't turn the TV on with the programmed remote. I've done it like 10 times already and it's always step 7 that screws me up
