I can understand you put camelot on EX. I'm fine with babylonia being on A tier. I'm confused with shinjuku on A tier, but it's still okay. But shimousa on E??????
heavily disagree with babylonia being lower than anything, both camelot and babylonia are basically blueprints for whats to come, and they repeat the similar plotlines they did in those two multiple times in the rest of the good stories they tell in future. also salem deserves to be in the F tier just because of that horrific prologue, i had to read 20 min of characters saying the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER, just to fill the yapp meter counter, it was painful.
There is no rule that says an imitation cannot defeat the original! I can see it for some of the lostbelts (LB4 especially) but Anastasia and Atlantis didn't borrow from Camelot/Babylonia too much, did they? Or am I just blind to that? Salem's a weird one though. I wouldn't object to putting it anywhere between C and E. The story was a mess, but I liked the atmosphere of it.
Going by What available in na for LB7. It does kinda feel like Olympus with the boss fights but it you're going in blind you have no idea who they wil be. Also they that shall not be named is just so insane for being in fgo. The characters in LB7 are probably some of my favourites in a long time. It knows when to be serious and when to have comedic effect. A certain someone helps with that a lot
From what I've done of LB7 so far (first three sections), the humor is definitely on point. My only problem with it so far is there's two dozen different Nahuatl terms it feels like I'll never remember. The set up is nice though, and the pacing feels a lot better than nasu normally does. I'm really hoping it stays this good.
I so agree with your Shimousa's take. The whole evil 7 swordmen and the extra-over the top death battle are, to me, kinda cringe. Muramasa still goated as hell tho
Anastasia ex tier. You did it, so here you go, take that 15 rubles :p In terms of Olympus and Sin. They are both imbued with anti-utopian message, so if that's likeable to you, that will feel way more powerful (like for me). Also Olympus is a moment of second part story climax - after it things are completely different, you know about the foreign god and it's nature of Beast of the End. So it's also amped for people by it's position in a greater scheme of events.
I wasn't actually talking about the Dioscuri (unless the video is about their parallels?) but Adele and Macarios. A big thing I remember is not liking how accepting they were of us destroying their world, not just the gods. I wanted them to have some level of self-preservation, to make them feel more like people and less like plot devices. It's been a long time since Olympus though, so I don't remember the details. The Dioscuri themselves were kind of annoying ,but didn't leave a big impression on me one way or the other.
This is pretty close to my own list. Atlantis was just so much better than Olympus, outside of a few boss battles. Rankings also shows that this perception is shared by most of the players as well. I had so much hope for it, but the whole execution failed. Not as tight as Atlantis was, pacing was off, the twins are annoying and grating, forced supports and the good parts was the Wodime and Caenis.
I think putting Solomon a tier higher would be fair, but I'll die on my "Olympus is heavily flawed" hill. It really some really great scenes (the climax and the first time the Black Barrel gets used especially), but it just dragged on for too long.
I have to agree with you about most of this tier list. I agree with shimousa, very overated chapter and totally not worth its hype. Me personal favourites are shinjuku, salem and babilonia (at least till lostbelt 2), the worst part for me is septem, i was curious of it because of umu, but during the story i felt dissapointed. This chapter had nothing, the only good part was boudica :/
Anastasia in EX? The worst lostbelt. The appeal of singulaeities and lostbelts is the use of local cultures and folclore in its stories. LB1 not only fails at that, the highlight of the story is Salieri being gay for Mozart. Both have jack shit to do with Russia.
Terrible take. Putting Agartha and Septem which is the objectively the worst FGO chapter above Shimousa is outragious. The title ahould be 100% most biased FGO story tier list not accurate tier list.
I'd say there's three main things: About 80% of Shimousa is spent dealing with generically evil villains that only look like Servants. In a series that tends to be about ideals and conflicting views, it's an absolutely disappointment to have a battle royale against what may as well be 7 of the same person. I think Shimousa should have done what Heian-Kyo did, and dump the battle royale aspect half way through and just go straight to the climax. The whole narrative is built around a character that isn't particuarly deep. Musashi works great as a supporting character, like in Anastasia or Olympus, but not when you build a whole narrative around her. It's even worse since, until the end, she's being contrasted against villains that are hardly even characters. Plus, Shimousa is significantly longer than Agartha, which was at least pretty to the point. Shimousa, Olympus, and Heian-Kyo all have the same problem of being overly wordy in segments that could honestly just be cut from the story without missing much and be better for it.
I was waiting for this post lol. It always surprises me when I remember Shimousa is a lot of people's favorite EoR chapter. I'd love to see it animated though, it would have some great fight scenes.
@@HorseyEatYou I can understand you don't like shimousa. Not all people had the same taste. But to put it on E tier is beyond my comprehension. It's like you're saying that shimousa is trash that it shouldn't be made as a story at all. Agartha, septem, london, oceanos, america, and orleans are all boring AF, to put it on your terms for being overly wordy and not to the point.
@@billythekid-bestservant1 Honestly, I hated most of time spent in Shimousa, so I wouldn't disagree with that. Go check out the word count graph of F/GO though. Shimousa's roughly 150% as long as Agartha, and probably 400% the size of pre-America singularities. I find it a lot easier to excuse chapters I don't like for their flaws when they're shorter. Like part of Okeanos' charm is that if you sit down to read it for an hour, you're probably half way done with it. Shimousa's pacing just gave me more time to not like it.

100% Inaccurate Fate/Grand Order story tier list
That's a good title idea!

@HorseyEatYou yeah. Part 1 was pretty good so far. I just hope part 2 holds up because I know what's in part 3
Bro forgot Mandricardo in Atlantis 😢
In my defense, he's not a cute anime girl! (He's actually one of the best parts of Atlantis. Crazy I forgot to mention him)

love the vid so far, also since you hate the twins i recommend looking at ta the Dioscuri video by crazy yurie

@HorseyEatYou hm oh no, I mentioned the video because your dislike of them.
Crazy yurie dives into each detail about the twins, from myth to character
Bro is based for having Atlantis in EX and shimousa at E, shimousa disappointed me considering many praised as the best for pseudo singularities
Traum's A-tier btw.
Charlemagne as a character is absolutely fantastic.

Nahh bro solomon and especially olympus placement is diabolical

It was pure fan service, but I always liked that El-Melloi and Alexander were together in it.

It's the best LB aside from LB6 imo. The feels were so on point.
Lb prologue+ Lb1 is a good start, I won't deny it, it's certainly top tier
Terrible take. Putting Agartha and Septem which is the objectively the worst FGO chapter above Shimousa is outragious. The title ahould be 100% most biased FGO story tier list not accurate tier list.
Ok I changed the title just for you!
Agartha is the most boring pseudo-singularity. It shouldn't be above shimousa at all.
