Wot, no Jon Pertwee ?
Pertwee was cast in the film but replaced with Ronald Shiner. This happened after he heard that Dennis Price wouldn’t be cast because of his sexuality and demanded that Price join him and Leslie Phillips.

@ Him and the rest of the supporting cast (Heather Chasen, Tenniel Evans, Michael Bates) weren’t asked to appear at all. Richard Caldicot actually is in the film, but sadly only pops up briefly in an uncredited role.
