Maytag Neptune Dryer Drum Squeal, Rumble

Our Maytag Neptune dryer started to squeal and the drum would rumble. The issue was worn out drum roller wheels. In this video we show you how to disassemble a Maytag Neptune dryer and get access to replace the belt, drum wheels, and belt idler wheel. OUr drum roller wheels were severely worn. Once apart we also found the the felt on the drum was worn out. We purchased a felt kit which included the glue and replaced. All parts were available on ebay. Our model number was MDE9700AYW... but the roller wheel parts are the same for many models including Whirlpool and others. The roller wheel part number was W10177428.
