Whoodathunkit that this little, 5' 3" Disabled Major Old Lady... HUH?
At over age 60, it's nice to know that we Major Old Ladies, aka Mom to all, still have something worthwhile to share, right? My parents are in their early 80s.
Ackkk. They say that we eventually turn into our parents. The bathroom mirror tells it all, right?
(OUCH!!, LOL. 👍🙃👍)

@@majoroldladyakamom6948 Drybar is great. Keep looking on the bright & funny side! I'm 61 myself so i can relate! We are still relevant!
This is the second mature female standup from the South in the USA…both have been absolutely brilliant 🇺🇸 and both on DryBar!
One of the best was Jeanne Robertson!
Leanne Morgan!
Not gonna lie I almost clicked off because the accent was a bit much for me at first.
BUT I stuck around, got used to it and her cadence and I REALLY enjoyed what she brought. Her set came around full circle, she's very whitty, and she had mini sermons.
Let's GOOOO!
I’m from western KY... that accent is tame to some stuff I hear on the regular 😂
@@OneWhoDreamsAwake, I almost didn't click because I thought it was going to be some northerner making fun of southerners. She was very funny. Glad I clicked.
Huh, her accent is actually quite mild compared to some southern accents.
My !! Had to switch to subtitles, stuck around. 200% worth it
(non native speaker here... but we do we got some accents round here no subtitles could get their teeth around ! )
Yeahhhh, I'm not sure why it took me a while to adjust when I first watched it.
Rewatching it now, her accent is very mild.
"Get in the casket! We gotta go!"
She's the right kind of goofy!
Love her!!! Her set was sooo good!!!
My Grandmother grew up on a farm in rural PA. Church goer, loves angels and angel figurines, makes holiday sweets, crochets, does puzzles, end every letter with 'God bless'. Your stereotypical white grandmother.
I told her I was taking chemistry, and her response as "Oh, good, then you can make a bomb"
I did NOT see that coming.
"All I do is doodle all day long" 😂 😂 😂 oh I love this woman
South Carolina is now 44th in Education
in case u were curious like me :)
according to WLTX
👍😄
Yep and California is last which is my home state I love it how people try to stereotype the South when the biggest idiots come from the Northern coastal States
@@susiebear3316 I am also from California and I agree with you so much.
bless your heart sc
I would hate to see what its like over there if it is that bad over here.
"Things got weird!"
Understatement of the decade, bless your heart
I could grow old with a woman with such humor.
Same my dude 😂
Instead of surving dinner, she just surves you burns 😏🤌
Humorous.
Me too
Did you notice the rainbow stripes on her pants? Just saying.
Thank you kindly JJ! You are an angel and I am thrilled that you are a standup!
Thanks!
Absolutely love her! First time seeing her! Shes hilarious! Cant wait to see more of her
Anyone can cuss and be vulgar but it takes true talent to be this funny with clean comedy. One of the best comedians I've seen. I was sad when it was over.
DryBar never has swearing or vulgarity. You should subscribe to the page. Lol
But she isn't funny.
Courageous one pulling that "vanilla or chocolate cake" bit in this setting.
And it seemed like it was well received, slow clap on that
Loved it. JJ is great. More of her.
I think she slipped that one by the "do das." 😂
The audience was a little slow figuring that out.
My thought was that she was still referring to actual cake for her while the others....were not.
Love is blind...but the neighbors ain't.
That one was my favorite!
yep , she has eyes like an eagle and a nose like a beagle

Well I’m from South Carolina and proud of it!! Bless your heart has many meanings
What are the “supposed” meanings? I know one is an insult like... you dummy... or I feel sorry for you.
@@AngZok You don't need an explanation. Think about scenarios.
Bless your heart for askin' though.
@@AngZok It's an expression of sympathy. It's just that it often (but not always) is used in the sense of feeling sorry for someone who was, apparently, dropped on their head repeatedly as a child. Sometimes it *is* used to express genuine sympathy for someone who is going through a tough situation through no fault of their own, though.
I reckon it does !
Of course JJ would pick just one;
as a recurring theme sewing things together, using an other meaning would be confusing
I am too...no it doesn't...at least not these days...
God bless you! Testimony and comedy! The Lord has truly blessed you! You nailed that ending doodle all day long! Great!!!!
"One day I was stacked in the bean department and that bagel was lookin pretty toasty" 🤣🤣🤣
What a quick wit and charming lady. I thoroughly enjoyed this set. More please! 😁
She was just great! Thank you so much, JJ and Dry Bar.
I love this local girl! From a South Carolinian, you are funny. Smart waiting on the right guy. Love from the Palmetto State!
One of the best I’ve ever heard! So funny and so right! You’re awesome!!
Fantastic confidence and great audience-reciprocation!
So this is what it's like listening to another South Carolinian; loved it!
Been living in SC for 24 years and I've had people say stuff about my accent when in other towns in SC, and now I know what it's like hearing it from another. Even the rest of my family and friends in SC don't sound like this. The manorisms were just so spot on, haha.
Awe this was outstanding! Great job. SO FUNNNNY. 👍
A friend just sent me some clips from Comedy Central acts. They were funny, but most were too crass, and one I had to stop. This kept me rolling from start to finish. Goes to show that she put a lot of work into this. I know "comedians are stupid" is a common bit, but hot dang, she's sharp as a tack. Look forward to being senile, lol. 😉
AN EXCELLENT cure for my Mondays blue. Thank you Miss. J. J.
Love is blind BUT the neighbour's are not... So many very good lines. I really enjoyed this THANKS FOR THE VIDEO XX
Love her!! I could watch this over and over and over - truth and humour all rolled into one great package!!
Omg so funny and true!!! When 40 year old men are not creepy anymore! 😂😂😂 And yes it's weird to be attracted to the really young men too! I'm 42!
Wait until the 80 year old guys start chatting you up at the grocery store. Then you know you're really old.
Cougar
The problem with the young ones is that they all have beards now, which make them look 5-10 years older. Then you find out they're only 25! 😳😁
Some 40 year old men will ALWAYS be creepy
@@nomadicam Some people will always be creepy, regardless of age or gender.
I've binged a few of these sets over the last few days, she is by far the BEST one!!!!🔥🔥😂
When she first started, I thought she was a little annoying then by the end I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. Wasn't prepared for all the southern jabs and bible jokes, being a southern preacher's daughter myself. Hit a little close to home, I even have an Aunt Jackie. Can't wait to watch this with my fiancé.
Is he an "everything bagel"? ;)
@@wolfysays6311 Hahaha absolutely! Not fully toasty, but that’s how I like my bagels. XD
& with your Aunt Jackie?
@@NatandGeorge Yeah no, we don't talk. Sadly she's not a 90 something awesome old lady, she's younger than me and we don't get along for more than a few minutes. My great grandmother and my aunt Ann are the crazy awesome ones.
A sweet lady with edgy truth humor...Great!
Cake by The Ocean just took on a whole new meaning.
SAME?!!! I DIDN’T KNOW EITHER! @2@
... ew
That's what it always meant bro.
@@traviswilliams3034 Yeah, if you're 12. Cake used to be just a dessert. Bro.
@@lw3269 not true... theres birthday cake cream pie now... 💥 🎤 dropped
I love her!! She's so adorable and has the perfect voice for voiceover characters!
I’m from South Carolina too...small town called Andrews about 30 miles from Pawleys!!! Love Pawleys ❤️
Usually my dad doesn't get into comedy but you caught the attention of my 92 year father! He especially liked the part about your Aunt Jackie!
Well, she is amazing and hillarious and complete and consistent. Wow)
This woman is just so wholesome
You deserve all the best JJ
great energy and flawless sense of humor, loved this!
I love this gal! She's really sweet and very funny, and reminds me of my wonderful wife of 31 years. When you find the right person, marriage is fabulous.
OMG she is too funny! Bless her heart!
Great energy and I love her mannerisms, a funny lady.
Thank you ma'am
WOW! I do not know how I got here but I glad I did😂👋🏾👵🏽💚
