I've always enjoyed them because for once I could relax and enjoy comedy without cringing at the filth that comes forth in search of a laugh. I had not previously heard his Testimony. WOW! I'm 61. I've listened to almost all of Jeff Allen's tapes. While this one had stories I'd heard before, none of your stories had ever made me cry, until this one. Your testimony is so powerful. My husband was 3 weeks into sobriety when I met him. We married 6 months later. At 3 I didn't think we would make it if God didn't do something about my husband. He did something to me instead. We my husband died we had been married for 27 years. I was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. I wasn't expected to live past the 4 of July, and there was real doubt whether I'd make it to the 4 of July. I said when I got this prognosis, I know the statistics you're telling me. God will decide what day will be my last. I pray every day and thank God for giving me another day. Yet, I feel like I have been running away from God. I believe God heals in three ways. I'm sure there's more. The 3 ways are getting my family prepared, getting me prepared, and taking the disease away. God will let me know through my actions and His. My kids ask me what I want for Christmas. By bible didn't make the trip. (Moved from Alaska to Arkansas. Lots of stuff didn't make it.) I think I want to go back to my original version of the bible. The one that woke me up 30 years ago. Thanks for waking up my heart, through your testimony.
All bibles originated from the Romans who constructed it. It is made up of pagan fables, numerology, hypnosis, and embellishments mixed with Jewish history and the lives of the apostles and Jesus. Nevertheless, there is a blueprint in the old and new testaments of God and Jesus and original gospel instructions. It's in there for you.
Beautiful testimony. Hope you got your Bible. How upset I would be losing mine. Some don’t like to write in theirs. I wrote dates of sermons, studies, etc and who led. It’s a treasure.
I received Jesus as Saviour in 1991. I have been in church since shortly after that. In all my years in the church, I have never heard a better testimony. Thank you for sharing Jeff. Absolutely amazing.

But when his story hit a little too close to home, I realized that was my sign it’s time to get my act together. One of the most heartwrenching testimonies I've ever heard. As a guy who also has divorce papers in the drawer, and who slept on the couch for 2 years, am approaching our 38 year anniversary. Our God is an awesome God, be well, be safe, and keep being funny.

Everything is meaningless.”” After loosing everything I ever accumulated including my marriage, God drew me near Him. By taking everything from me, He freed me from myself. Just amazing how I can completely identify with his humor & his life story. Just about every active alcoholic or addict who's found themselves asking the same questions can too. Anyone can stop drinking or using, but it takes an entire change of life to finally become clean & sober& to honestly look at your life & how you're affecting yourself-but more importantly those in our lives! Life as an addict is hell-but life WITH an addict is a hell we force upon those around us. Those we love & should care for the most suffer the greatest consequences of addiction.
I need to go back and listen to your comedy when you were 60. I didn't know you had become a Christian. I hope you're still walking with the Lord. Not that you have to tell your story at every show, but I think I either missed it or maybe something happened over the last ten years. Blessings
If my husband had been able to see this it would have been so much easier for him. Yes, he did find our Lord before he died but it was a long hard road for him. Laughter was always the way to reach him with the truth. I'm grateful others will have that opportunity with this video.

Divorce is such a tramatic experience I've been thru 2 of them stayed single for 10 years met my best friend my wife accepted Jesus it's been almost 40 years 4 kids 6 grandchildren the best 40 years of my life. I'm glad Jeff you and your wife gave it another try God bless both of you be lovers and most of all best friends

It's sad. So many people listen to the culture of the world that tries to tell us "Do what makes you feel good because suffering is bad" and it's so prevalent nowadays with the dual blessing and curse that is the internet that more and more people every day lose sight of the fact that when we suffer it is so God can make us into even better men and women because of it. It's something I'm trying to work through myself at nearly 40 years old (and still single....will probably be single for the rest of my life and I'm coming to accept that maybe the life of a confirmed bachelor is perhaps the life God has set apart for me). It makes me so sad though....all the people going around who so desperately need something to fill that spiritual void and unfortunately is the culture of the world that has the loudest voice and is in a position to have these people constantly looking in all the wrong places for fulfillment. :(

If my husband had been able to see this it would have been so much easier for him. Yes, he did find our Lord before he died but it was a long hard road for him. Laughter was always the way to reach him with the truth. I'm grateful others will have that opportunity with this video.

I've been listening to a lot of Dry Bar Comedy due to this shutdown of our country. You brought me a lot of laughs. I didn't pick up on you were a Christian. I really do hope all is well in your walk with our Lord. You have a way of telling great stories using humor. Again, Blessings Jeff.

Divorce is such a tramatic experience I've been thru 2 of them stayed single for 10 years met my best friend my wife accepted Jesus it's been almost 40 years 4 kids 6 grandchildren the best 40 years of my life. I'm glad Jeff you and your wife gave it another try God bless both of you be lovers and most of all best friends

It's sad. So many people listen to the culture of the world that tries to tell us "Do what makes you feel good because suffering is bad" and it's so prevalent nowadays with the dual blessing and curse that is the internet that more and more people every day lose sight of the fact that when we suffer it is so God can make us into even better men and women because of it. It's something I'm trying to work through myself at nearly 40 years old (and still single....will probably be single for the rest of my life and I'm coming to accept that maybe the life of a confirmed bachelor is perhaps the life God has set apart for me). It makes me so sad though....all the people going around who so desperately need something to fill that spiritual void and unfortunately is the culture of the world that has the loudest voice and is in a position to have these people constantly looking in all the wrong places for fulfillment. :(
