I’m 61 years old widower and it’s really something to hear the reality told by a beautiful lady who has an awesome heart in a manner that brings laughter out. God Bless 💕🤗
I laughed when she said marriages last long when the men don't speak. Until I realized my parents have been married nearly 35 years and my dad is the most quiet, non confrontational person I know. So she has a point 😂
It can be true. What she said was some wisdom I picked up and really a revelation that if you don't speak that the woman will assume you don't have a differing opinion. If you are married to a woman with borderline personality traits then you are married to someone that if you disagree with their opinion they take that as "you don't love me". It is a strange phenomenon. Also, in proverbs there is a verse that says, "even a fool is considered wise if he keeps his mouth shut". Something like that. But it is true. The more you give a woman the more some of them will eventually be unimpressed or just simply tired of you. That's why the strong silent type of man is the most desirable.
I love my husband and value his opinions. Sometimes though their impulsiveness keeps them from really seeing the long term. A lot of dudes get rubbed the wrong way by the idea that they should be quieter but they literally live happier, cleaner, healthier lives with us. Like when y'all were loud and single you could t manage to stay stocked up on dishes or toilet paper now you eat good and things smell nice. Just be quiet 😂
@@anarchist_parable they would also live happier healthier lives with you if they weren't punished for talking though. Instead of pining over the younger, slimmer, better looking version of myself and feeling depressed after another ten years, I should realize that NOW I am this better version than the ten-year later version, so I should appreciate it now.

One of the things I have found is that people who aren't in relationships tend to think more. Not saying we're smarter, but that more cognition is happening. If ya write it down, you can build on it, and when you see it all in one pile it looks amazing. Never mind it took a couple of years of rewrites to make a half hour of dialog. 300,000 people have watched this so far. A half hour times 300,000 equals 150,000 hours. 150,000 hours is 6,250 days. That works out to seventeen years. Which means I'm not in a relationship either.
@@geraldfrost4710 what i really enjoy is that nobody asks you why you "waste" your time with what you deem important for yourself.. i use up a lot of my time for self-improvement.. let it be various types of sports, or learning musical instruments, taking online astrophysics classes or sometimes just finding the best way how to nap on my couch on a Thursday afternoon.. and when i then meet with friends, they're always quite surprised about all the various things i have been doing - at quite good levels - because i like to put time into what makes me happy (and i do all those things not to impress others, but for my own pleasure), while they tell me stories how their kids shat all over them.. in those cases i feel like i picked the better side.
@@cdh79 The other side is that I have a picture of my daughter when she was nine feeding a baby deer in a friend's back yard. That's the background for my computer. There's always some good. And then there's screaming fits over, well, it's hard to tell what a teenage girl is upset about; mostly she's just upset and you're there. "I feed you, I clothe you, I shelter you, I protect you, and you're mad at me? What are you? A woman in training?" And my ex is yelling at me, "don't harass my daughter!" There were some beautiful moments. And now I have some peaceful moments.
@@geraldfrost4710 oh, i fully understand that there must be some amazing moments as well, no doubt about that.. as you said however, there can be ungrateful moments as well.. and in relationships, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't, for whatever reason.. my desktop background is a picture of "IC443" the "jellyfish nebula" which is a supernova-remnant (the leftovers of an exploded star), that i took myself after spending hours in the freezing cold at night.. such images to me illustrate how small our planet and solar system - and humanity in general - is in the course of time and space, and how all of our biggest problems, actually don't matter at all in the grand scheme of things.. so i learned to just enjoy my time here and try to be happy and not take life (and myself) too seriously, because we're not getting out alive anyways :)

All you have to do is tap on the video so that the red line has a red dot on the right side. Drag the red dot to a commercial and let go. Repeat for as many commercials as there are. Commercials well then go away. Drag the red dot back to the beginning and enjoy your show uninterrupted and totally free.
Or get the red dot/line to end as if you watched it. You'll see what looks like a road warning sign of very sharp curve ahead. Tap it & you'll be taken right to the beginning, commercial free.
Swearing has nothing to do with it. There are great comedians that do or dont. It really doesnt matter. Its you're fucked up beliefs that stop you from listening to outstanding comedians who swear.
@@staceystrukel1917 No not beliefs I like a lot of comedians both that swear an clean, but there is a line you cross when you use too much swearing or certain words that really don't need to be said to make a joke funny. This has been stated my many famous comedians, not just myself. I love comedians from Bob Hope all the way up to Fluffy.

I find it interesting when comics talk about "waiting for life to start". I realized during high school that the race of life was going to start soon because "everyone" was talking about college. It turns out that some people realized much earlier that the starting gun sounded. And while we all run our own race, there's no way to catch up to a peer who started running 10 years sooner. Find yourself, point yourself in a direction and begin your journey. Life isn't about waiting for life to happen. It's about living.
You can catch up when you realize there are no rules, just mental handicaps. My parents un-schooled me. I had a 4th grade equivalent education when I moved out of my parents house. It was a mentally destructive environment. Within 2 years I was earning $100,000 by working 72hrs, 6 days a week, $21/hr. Was not happy at that time, but I was on my own, and money was not an issue. Now I see the path is to make money from various streams, all of which originate in my own creativity: Sell eBooks, develop businesses that can stand on their own feet. E.g. hire people smarter than me. And invest every penny I can squeeze out of my job and side gigs, and put money to work in tax-advantaged accounts such as 401(k), Self Directed IRA, etc. Most people don't start doing this until their 30s, but I started at 21.
First female comic I've loved in a long time! There have been greats, don't get me wrong, just not for what feels like an eternity! And her voice makes me laugh, because it's just so unique. Also, thank everything good on the Internet for a female comic that doesn't spend the whole time talking about pregnancy.
I just turned 30. And she's right. Yeah, I don't have a husband, a house, kids, bad credit. But the bright side is that I don't have a husband, a house, kids and bad credit. You start to appreciate the little things in life.

It's not that 20-year-olds in particular don't matter, it's that none of us matter, and the 20-year-olds still haven't figured out that they're not special, they aren't going to accomplish much or do anything extraordinary with their lives, that they're just going to shuffle through another 50, 60 years of miserable mediocrity and then die. The 20-y-olds still have this naive hope that they'll have a great life, is her point.

That reminds me of an interview with pink. She was watching a video of herself from 10yrs earlier, she said, "wow I looked great in that video, but I remember how shitty I felt about my weight that day, why the hell do we constantly trash ourselves when we are actually pretty awesome".

Actually...yeah. Men seem to be surprisingly intimidated by women who are anything more than a dingbat. If they can't own it n control it, they don't want it. Except...later...when they realize what they gave up...I guess...?

A woman in training?" And my ex is yelling at me, "don't harass my daughter!"
There were some beautiful moments.

That's the best therapy, only when she leaves the stage do the problems start again. Material for another show

Amazing talent to tell those long running jokes with grammar undertones. Funny on multiple levels!
I watched 4 minutes and had three commercial breaks. Thanks youtube you're just like the tv we left behind in the 80's .
All you have to do is tap on the video so that the red line has a red dot on the right side. Drag the red dot to a commercial and let go. Repeat for as many commercials as there are. Commercials well then go away. Drag the red dot back to the beginning and enjoy your show uninterrupted and totally free.
it's called RUclips Premium. Sorry everything in life isn't free for you.
Or get the red dot/line to end as if you watched it. You'll see what looks like a road warning sign of very sharp curve ahead. Tap it & you'll be taken right to the beginning, commercial free.
Just came across a show that had 5 parts, Criminally Listed, and none of them showed the white dots. I hope RUclips isn't moving to hiding the ads.
Ad free is well worth $12 a month
In addition to being hilarious, she's very clever with the word play. I like that. You have to be smarter to do clean comedy.
Yeah I agree I lose respect when comedians do HahA sEx=fUnNy
Swearing has nothing to do with it. There are great comedians that do or dont. It really doesnt matter. Its you're fucked up beliefs that stop you from listening to outstanding comedians who swear.
I seriously doubt you have to be "smarter" to do clean comedy. In fact, I'm positive you're wrong about that.
Agreed, some excellent wordplay and you get the impression from her intelligence that she really did have those arguments with people in the past 🙂
@@staceystrukel1917 No not beliefs I like a lot of comedians both that swear an clean, but there is a line you cross when you use too much swearing or certain words that really don't need to be said to make a joke funny. It's a bit dark but not in that way some comedians do, that's barely even comedy, just depressing, like Doug Stanhope, or _Stanhopeless._ It's quite funny.

The best comedy routine I've heard in a while (and I watch a lot of the videos from this channel). I especially loved the wheelchair humor segment. Being in a wheelchair myself, it's fun to hear good jokes about wheelchairs.
Ya she was really smart and pretty.
Yeah...wheelchair bit and hook hands...very funny!

Solid routine... looked her up on IMDB and was surprised she's not a voice actress... seems like she'd do some good ones. Liked her stuff.
Sounds kinda like maria bamford
I'd love her to do my "I'm not here, leave a message."
"Mr Frost isn't in. His acting career has taken off, and his valuable time is being spent with other highly paid actors. I will be going through his many messages for him. If you need his agent, you know who to call. If you claim to be his parents, he's been an orphan for decades. If you wish to file a paternity claim, he's gay. If you are a 300 pound angry bleach blonde, the child support check is in the mail. If you are a robo call, you've already timed out. He does not need insurance, and his stock portfolio is well managed. I'm not sure what you want, but if you think you have a chance in hell, Please leave a message. Make it good."
She should!!! I'm sure video acting would be a plus with her in it as well!!
Finding Nemo level voice for sure
She's wonderful. Clean, trendy, and not over-hyperbolizing. Well done Erica. I also got out of LA. Perhaps one day I'll return. Cheers to anybody reading this. Make someone laugh!

Glad that I found a female comedian with 90% similar mindset, hahaha...

She makes me feel like I'm killin it just for having more than one towel
I think she means his/hers towels. Maybe not though.
Right, I have like 6. I'm rich in towels lol
Lol me too!!
She confirms the thought that I already had, that I was a sucker for buying a house with a yard that I have to mow constantly for nine months a year
As a bachelor i had over a dozen towels......
Now that i'm married, we have 6 towels...........
The average number of clean towels has increased significantly tho.
Love her brain, sophisticated humor and.. her, as the most beautiful woman in this context. ❤ if I wasn’t passing 50 and and stuck in Eastern Europe with my two beautiful teenage daughters - I would hit the road to US and make a love confession 🥸🙄😂. However, it’s a sad truth that the most brilliant people with more baggage than the others are usually lonely in this life…
A 92-year-old fellow I knew was bemoaning his age and how unfair it was that health issues were slowing him down. I told him that by the time my father was the same age as this fellow, he'd already been dead for twelve years.
Amazing! I absolutely loved her act.
I find her depressing commentary strangely comforting. Erica's comic timing is impeccable.

And I just found her depressing. She sounded to me like a somewhat bitter unhappy woman with nothing positive in her Life.
@@mjollnir9075 wadya mean nothing positive in her life, her voice is chipper, good timing, and doesn’t care about status quo idea of happiness. @ Felix- a comedian with higher intelligence than a lot of them out there, that's who. Guess you would have preferred a fart joke instead, huh?
Loved this. She's funny but also a bit sad, which is the best kind of humor IMHO.
We all live different lengths and have different roads. Everyone is running a time trial and we aren't racing in a marathon.
Erica is brilliant and makes me laugh out loud. So refreshing to hear the truth told so well.

I’m 34, and I even felt “20 year olds don’t matter,” WHEN I WAS 20 LoL... It’s true!
