I was one of two boxers sparring when Knotts and Conway first enter the gym. They stand there watching us for a few seconds before talking to our trainer played by David Wayne.
I saw every Don Knots and Tim Conway but this one, and in fact I never even heard of this one until I found it on Amazon today. Maybe it didn't get wide release? No matter, so sad that both are gone now. Tim was doing so good mentally too. Don faded at the end but Tim did an interview about 2 years ago with his son on KFI in CA and it was one of the greatest interviews ever. Tim Conway was such a decent guy and a great story teller. He was a big part of my childhood with his Disney movies and Don Knots team ups. And of course McHale's Navy reruns.
When THE PRIZE FIGHTER movie was made, Tim Conway made an appearance on the Carson's tonight show with Carol Burnett and Tim mentioned about the movie that was coming out.
This film earned back more than double its production costs and set up their next film together, "The Private Eyes", which did even better at the Box Office. Good movies.

My grandfather was the dude in the beginning laying on the ground in the ring his real name is Hatfield he played in many movies
The woman playing the crazy grandma was hysterical with Conway in this movie. Shame she isn't in the trailer.
Bags is an experienced fighter 😂🤣😂🤣
My uncle was The Butcher
Don Knotts was one of the most popular men in Hollywood, countless women.
Stan Smith here narrating the trailer! Sounds so much like seth MacFarlane
