Forgive me, but this doesn't seem to be news, or new. Having worked as a therapist for many years and also being human, the knowledge that emotional pain physically hurts is surely common knowledge. Pretty much all the thousands of people I've worked with knew this. Perhaps you've come up with some scientific proof that hasn't been identified previously, though it's not clear from this clip what that is. Superpowers? Counter intuitive? I disagree on both counts. Natural, normal and common to all

i know you posted an age ago now, but just wanted to say that what is new is how to use this with understanding of attachment. So, if i feel pain on rejection, i might also feel this means i am in trouble, that i need to re-attach or say sorry or get back with a person because if i do the pain will go away. The pain is not information about the quality of that attachment but simply an age old survival strategy (superpower), knowing this means i can walk away without sweating the choice.
