    My children's python is probably the nicest snake I own. Always up for interaction whenever I walk past his cage.

    Love my little Spotted. The iridescence on him is beautiful.

    I was gifted a baby spotted in February, he is the best snake ever. So outgoing and interesting personality, super friendly and definitely always ready for food so I always have to tap this lil head before I pick him up so I won’t accidentally get bit lol
    But I must say they are very curious, very active. my ball Python is shy and rather hide and my spotted greets me daily and approach me and does not hesitate to explore lol he have no fear in him at all lol

    They grow up to around 1 meter, or just over 3 feet. They lay eggs. Yes they are slender. They eat frozen thawed mice. I hated snakes, living in Australia, i have a Stimson python, i absolutely love her. Completey changed my mind about snakes.

    Antaresia are fantastic! Absolutely my favorite genus to work with. I am about to pick up a visual T+ and het pair that I’m incredibly excited about! I really want to produce any morphs of Antaresia that I can

    Your additional knowledge always surprises me 🙆‍♀️ Also the structure makes the information almost automatically rememreble. Love it

    Great video! My childrens wanted me dead for the entire first year of his life. Then one day he woke up and decided I was ok. He’s still very cage defensive, but at least the striking at my face has stopped. Still a fun species to keep.

    Just got a little Spotted Python so really happy I found your video and would love more content on Antaresia in general 👍. Really love the "Normal" morph with the iridescence she has though I believe she's het for granite as well. Only issue I have with her is she is extremely food motivated 😂 but I'm sure a bit of work with her will calm her down eventually.

    Oops initially said stimmi were spotted, but then corrected it by saying childrens. Be interesting to see whether the childreni-stimsoni-orientalis complex will remain childreni or be recategorised in the future.
    I love this genus, and like to see keepers raise their profile 🤘

  • @Montypythonserpents

    So the stimson is no longer considered its own species, It's now considered to be a children and is morph/variation of the children python?

    Because we can't get the exciting morphs, would breeding, children's, stimsons to Spotted bring out different morphs?

    • @JzsReptiles
      @JzsReptiles  Год назад

      It’s a possibility similar to the burm balls that get something of a morph. But also just breeding in larger numbers can lead to more mutations

    • @Steevee14
      @Steevee14 10 месяцев назад +1

      What is so "exciting" about morphs? Just different colors, right?
