If you had to devide between this one or the dobro hound dog deluxe, which one would you get? I'm gonna use it mostly for picking and melody slide playing in my country songs :)
I really don't know, haven't tried the Hound dog. Actually, I don't have this one anymore, didn't have use for it. Luckily I have my old Dobro M-32. :)
How do you like it when the guitar is plugged in? I'm trying to decide between the g9200 and the g9220. I like the first guitar's pricetag and finish. But I like the idea of having a guitar already set up to be plugged in. But if I get the g9200 I know I'll end up adding electronics later on. Which is better in your opinion?
+Linda Johansson : The Fishman Nashville is a high end PU with a good solid sound, one of the best and most reliable resonator PU:s. And I've heard that it's pretty difficult to assemble on your own... But the problem is that its most likely designed to be used with a Fishman Aura Jerry Douglas Pedal (300€). Without it it gives you a kind of piezo-like sound. Anyway, it's better than the most resonator PU's I have checked out.
Looking at a used one someone is selling for 250. It would be my first resonator and I want to work on learning slide. Would you recommend this one for the price?
I am looking to purchase this model. Those are some cool licks...kind of a Mississippi Kid feel. I'm sold.
