Thailand is very diverse. Each region of Thailand has distinct differences in language and culture. Thai people always like to help each other and respect others.

The restaurant on the beach you found is owned by the lady who owns the Sangsuree villas behind the restaurant and she also owns the Hillside villas across the road. We are back at the Hillside in January and its a fab little place to stay and very cheap. Love Yai and Noi.

Why the sub-titles? You speak English fine, and they are really annoying! Spend your time enjoying life, not making sub-titles and for who?

Don't worry, Tourists they don't know much about this place And if when they knew it would be like any other famous place in Thailand 😂.. Sometimes it's good that there aren't many tourists there Because there will be no chaos And it will be more private

Isn't the characterization of macaque monkeys as "always seeming to be up to no good" coming from homo sapiens whose species has devastated entire ecosystems and has largely caused global warming rather ironic?

Well, I thought it was a gum tree, but Chuck was right it was a rubber tree!. We enjoyed that thoroughly and gosh darn it. I wish we could travel with you guys. This is the kind of style that we like to travel where there’s not that many tourists, and we do our own thing and we find our adventure just like you guys have been. Really envious. I’m glad you’re having such a great time. We have a tentative trip in November the perfect month. We haven’t booked everything yet but the deal is pretty good however, it’s pretty guided and not so solo. I ask a lot of questions so I want answers and Chuck won’t have all the answers. That’s why he wanted to do some thing more guided. But on the converse side we do do a lot of independent traveling solo. That’s his style. Excellent video! I hope there’s more!

@@AlexanderAyling , I did not know you had affiliate links. Chuck just booked our trip for November 25 throughDec 10th. The deal we got expired today. It was with Gate 1, more of a guided tour so that Chuck doesn’t have to answer all my ?? LAX-Bangkok Asians airlines. Transfers incl. breakfasts Century Park Hotel… Chang Mai…Chiangmai Rai, Sukhothai, Kameo Ayutthaya. Bangkok to Phuket, Diamond Cliff Resort & spa, full day Phang Nga Bay & Lawa Island by Criuser then bk to Century Park Hotel in Bangkok. Brief rundown of our trip. $5,500.

Yes, it’s a rubber tree. I remember as a child we did a trip from Singapore to Johore Bahru. The bus stop and the guide got out and walk into the bush, then cane back for us. We all wondered why he did this.i It was to check for snakes. It was very interesting, him explaining the process of getting rubber from the trees. There’s a lot of snakes in Thailand, it’s good you didn’t encounter any.

    • @AlexanderAyling

It's a fascinating process. Glad we didn't bump into any snakes! Quite a few venomous ones there too! Thanks for watching Debbie.

Been following your Video’s for awhile now Alex. I also live in New Zealand and my husband and myself are always off somewhere.
Recently did a trip to Hokitika. The guy that owned the motel we stayed in is crazy about trees. Him and his twin brother are out on the hunt for the oldest and biggest trees in New Zealand.
His brother has a RUclips Chanel called Frank. The video I watched was called chasing our biggest trees. Kevin’s a science teacher in Auckland and Phil’s an ex policeman from Christchurch and now owns Stepforths Motel in Hokitika.
He was telling us there’s an ancient Mati tree around the banks of Lake Kanaire. Might be interesting for you and Carrie to take a look, if your down that way.
The whole area’s very interesting and great place to explore.
Just a few more interesting spots, Coal creek falls, Tunnel Terrace walk, Hokitika Gorge, The Treetop walk, and if you up Westport way, Deniston Mine.
There’s a book called Deniston Rose. It put Deniston on the map and tourists attraction. It’s a very interesting place.
Also the museum in Westport is interesting, about the coal mining in the area. Got plenty more hidden gems, I’ll keep you posted.
