Very informative video. I watched it a couple of months before going to costa rica & it really helped. Been to San Jose, Tortuguero, Lafortuna, Monteverde, Jaco, Manuel Antonio & my favorites were definitely Lafortuna, Monteverde & Tortuguero. I’ve been back for 2 months now & 1 still dream about going back. Costa Rica is not a place it’s a strong emotion, a feeling. The most incredible, out of this world, fulfilling experience of my life. I’ve never been this happier in my life & it put things in perspective quite alot
I really liked Montezuma . It's a bit of a yoga town with nice beaches and a really nice 3 tier waterfall with swimming holes (little bit of a sketched access hike/climb but if you're able-bodied , it's totally worth it).
as Costa Rican, you always talk so wonderful thing about us and the nature. We are really proud of our biodiversity, Manuel Antonio is my favorite National Park and I go there at least twice a year, during the dry season and then on the rainy season. My girlfriend and I love your and Carrie’s videos. Hopefully you can visit soon. Please go to Bajos del Toro, there you can find so many waterfalls and also visit La Cruz in Guanacaste, the beaches there and nature is quite special too!
Thank you Molly. I appreciate your comment. Stay tuned I’ve got travel guides from every country I’ve visited coming this year. Lots of great content on the way
PR is one of my favorite places to continue to go back to. Each town is vastly different energy and it's an easy hop from the States where they accept USD and most places speak English. One of my first recommendations to travelers that want to dip their toes into Central America.
It's hard to pick a favorite place in CR, but I enjoyed the heck out of Monteverde/Santa Elena. The cool temperatures in the mornings and evenings are heavenly. For anyone visiting that area, I would strongly suggest El Tigre Waterfalls for a fun experience that includes hiking, swimming, riding horses, and lunch with a killer view! My wife and I enjoyed El Tigre more than the Cloud Forest Preserve.
Thanks for the list!! I’ve been wanting to visit Costa Rica so bad. I was planning on it as a baby moon (pre pregnancy). But I got pregnant very quickly! I’ll be saving my vacation days for Costa Rica after maternity leave! ❤️
It will be a great place for your maternity leave. Watch my other Costa Rica Travel tips video and my Itinerary Guide video to get a better idea of what you want to do. They are linked in the description of this video

Apparently there is at least three playa hermosas because there is a playa hermosa just north of Santa Teresa beach. I would say my #1 is Costa Rica hands down is the Santa Teresa - Montezuma area in the Nicoya peninsula. Gotta check it out.
My partner and I hope to go back soon. We loved our first trip but went during the rainy season, we’d love to go back during their dry season. Planning for the end of this year or early next year 🤞 ❤
Very nice video, Just don't let your plane ticket fool you. The International airport Juan SantaMaria , in Costa Rica is not in San Jose. it is Located in Alajuela and San Jose is another province the capital of Costa Rica.

Hi! I’ll be buying your guide but would love to know if the end of November is a great time to go to Costa Rica?! Either Caribbean side or if the Pacific Ocean side is better weather/nightlife? Thank you!
Thanks Ivy, my itinerary will be really helpful in planning your trip. November is a good shoulder season month to visit, but it will still be a bit wetter and humid, so plan for that, dry in the mornings and thunderstorms in the afternoons. Nightlife is pretty mellow in most of the beach towns, a couple fun little bars. I can’t vouch for nightclubs as I don’t really like them much but you’ll be able to find somewhere to have a few drinks and hit the dance floor. Much more info in the itinerary! Hope you enjoy your trip! bit.ly/CostaRicaItineraryGuide 🇨🇷👌🏼
Great video! Question: How are you getting to these various destinations…driving a rental car? Is Uber available to get you from SJO to places like Playa Hermosa?
I will be going to Tambor beach looking at a lot to purchase. I see you were close to that area and any opinions for that area ? Looks like you have enjoyed Costa Rica to the fullest. Hope to do the same. Thanks for the info

@ Alex; Was wondering the same thing !!! Still making videos on there too & your own personal You tube ?? Just curious?? Been following you guys for A long long time .
I like to set the first one or two hotels and leave a little bit of space to book later in the trip. I find the best rates on this website. agoda.tp.st/8cX0epof
Also if ya dig and enjoyed this video Costa Rico which was cool and still a long haired after all these years though with a changed heart and peace 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on RUclips. 😀

Just open Google Maps and type them in yourself. It's not hard!
Do you have any recommendations for Puerto Limón?
Colibri spanish for hummingbird?
What time of year did the turtles hatch?
Great question. The hatching season runs from April to December.
Can you fly a drone there?
Humming bird = Chupa Rosa or Colibrí 😊
Ya sabes!
