If you can't get your tv up and running, try a new 50" Amazon Fire TV from Amazon here amzn.to/3HguZCU I've been very impressed with the picture and quality of the Fire TV. Why didn't you ever turn it on to see how they effected the pixel look I have a bright white scratch on my TV from my glasses while mounting it it's about the size of a pen tip

Vaseline worked very well. While the scratches were just a little too deep it did fill it a little more and even covered some of the lighter scratches. Definitely overall it’s not as noticeable. Thanks for making this video

Great video! I just dinged my screen (panicking internally)! When you all used the petroleum jelly, did you use anything to rub out the scratch first? I hit my screen with a metallic vacuum head, for context. Any guidance is super helpful - thanks!

I purchased a used Samsung JS9000 tv and scratched it in a few places by backing something metal into the screen in error. I turned the tv on and saw the scratches in light and dark areas. Watched this video and used the petroleum jelly and it worked like a charm! I turned the tv on and couldn't see any scratches in light and dark scenes. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

petroleum jelly is fine for fine scratches. but screens don't typically get scratched up by fine blades. it's usually something that leaves a coarser and less even imprint, which can be more challenging.

This. Fucking works. I can't believe this work, and I had a pretty deep scratch on my tv just now! I was ready to buy products off Amazon. Stressing over having to buy a new tv... I literally had all the stuff ready throw everything at it, but I ultimately ended up just using my Colgate optic white advanced whitening toothpast and the alcohol.

3m rubbing compound, and the toothpaste would work it would just take some time. The IPA/alcohol water mix, and the petroleum jelly will not work, but if you still want to try them, use the petroleum jelly first, then the IPA/alcohol water mix, but then after just use the IPA/alcohol to get all the grease off. I would then ask you guys to look up the word naive.
