Love my TCB 40s. They are fading nicely. I've been wearing them all year.

Just picked up a pair of LVC 1944's recently on sale and they are dope, for anyone wondering the fit is nearly exactly the same as my Iron heart 888's, so if youre looking for a modern version thats a great one to go with.

Samurais when limited are great to look back on when you retire them . Some of the hardware is amazing. I really enjoy the process of getting mends done on them and have some good all the way through to quite shonky work done on my jeans and it’s all fun.
I’d love to know what you thought of some of TCBs more crazy heritage stuff like the good luck jeans. They are so well researched and for the price you’re getting a lot of quality and wisdom from that company

Makes me think to buy it now and have a couple of wears in the long period of time.

When airplanes were first used in war, they didn’t have issued flight jackets so many pilots brought their personal leather motorcycle jackets to use.

I have a Levi repro with the belt back and suspender buttons. I intentionally bought them baggy to wear with suspenders. I don’t remember the repro year. Maybe 1921? I understand the crotch rivet could get a little hot while hanging out around the Camp Fire. 😊

Are you familiar with the Unbranded brand denim? I’ve got a pair of their selvedge 21oz coming in the relaxed taper. This cut has a front rise of 12.5” which I really like. It’s very tapered. I’m not sure I like that. I’ve heard that they fade pretty well. Any way, they are very affordable. Around $130. Ps. They just put out a 13.5oz ecru natural cotton denim that looks really nice too.

WOW!!! just how much are 1937 Levi's if a guy with seemingly dozens of amazing jackets at thousands of dollars each can't afford them!!

Looking at your 37s, the cinch strap sits exactly where it should for me, right below the waistband where it pulls in and sits tight in the small of your back. So many jeans (and very, very good jeans too) have the strap an inch or even a couple of inches lower where it's pulling tight across your ass. Always thought that is pretty useless, or maybe I just have a funny-shaped ass.
