This is so familiar to my experience. When I was a child, I could predict death. My mother became afraid and told the pastor. He convinced her that what I was doing was demonic and to stop me at all cost. This meant whippings. It never went away, but I stopped telling, and suffered in silence. For many years I said nothing, and let me tell you I have seen things that no human should see.

I’ve been the same and mom was also scared of me. We to this day do not have a good relationship. I’ve seen and felt death from just looking at people pictures and have never even met them.
My mama did nothing about my gifts…. My dad doesn’t believe me at all. I’m almost 40 now 😂😂😂 I noticed my two oldest are gifted… I nurtured them and let them know they are different but not weird. I assured them I believe everything they say.

Im glad Patricia found another way to help her daughter. My mom told me as a toddler I used to wave to air and say hi when walking past rooms. Fast forward to now, after I left the church, I found out I was a medium from My spiritual advisor. I also found out that I’m Clairsentient and Claircognizant.
My Daughter was 3, when she came to me and asked who is Fayee ? I said well let’s get your sneakers and go for a walk. And discovered this Chinese woman had been talking to her told her she was in a bad storm and she died in a bad storm with flooding she drowned. The spirit guide still talks to her. She is 26 now..

I don’t have kids yet, but I do have a nephew and on the moment he was born I decided to look into his birth chart to see what placements he has. From my discovery he has a lot of placements that signifies high sensitivity and being intuitive (earth & water placements). He’s getting older now so it’s becoming more apparent especially in his interactions with others. I notice how he’ll feel and observe the room before interacting with others to make sure it’s safe, if he feels the energy is off with a person he won’t go to them, etc. My pastor even said he was gifted, so as his Uncle, who’s also gifted, I’m going to make it my duty to nurture that part of him🥰💯.

When my daughter was very young, she told me, "I remember when I was YOUR mommy!" She also pointed at a picture of her great-grandpa, who died many years before she was born, and told me, "He was in OUR house." (He had never visited our house, I moved there way after he had passed.) Sadly, she doesn't remember any of this now, lol. But recently, she told me she had a vision of a possible past life where her now-cousin was her then-mother.
My niece said the same thing to my sister. She was born a few months after my mother passed. She said that she was my sister's mother, she explained how she passed and she said that they keep going through a mother daughter cycle. She said that she miss cooking as a mom. She said some other stuff too.
At the age of three my daughter randomly told us she was married to a man named Africadofre. We didn’t even know she knew about marriage.

When my daughter was 3, she would ALWAYS laugh & talk to "Icy".. Scared the shit outta me. I knew nothing about the spiritual world then. This grandmother is evil herself. She acts like this child will divulge the truth around the life and death of the first husband. The grandmother is the odd one.

Grandma is probably just scared and also traumatized by her first husband. The granddaughter is likely to show her some empathy when she is older and help her understand some things. I hope anuyway. I don't think anyone in this story is evil. Let's have some empathy ourselves and not judge people.

I was a Baptist Christian but also had the gift of empathy that later turned into mediumship as well. My daughter came in to this life grieving her child that died and she was still going through the grief process. So I had to just help her grieve her loss and I guided her with the other gifts she also has.
This was a beautiful story that I can relate to so much. I learned that I'm a healer as well (hence my chosen occupation as a social worker) BUT christianity was pacifying my gifts. Once I left the religion my abilities heightened. Kudos to Patricia, she was chosen to break the cycle of religion, I'm sure her ancestors are proud. ❤

How did you find out?
I have been gifted all of my life. I grew up seventh day . When i ventured out on my own my gifts got stronger and im thanful . I love helping people . When i was younger i bet people were like "how did she know that". I believe a lot of people knew i was gifted when i was smaller as well
My five year old daughter can see spirits. I allow her to express herself. I have a spiritual gift so I can understand it.
This will reach many folks if they are open to receive it. I believe to my soul that some of our parents and foreparents were beaten and embarrassed about spirituality to the point of denial. My Mama doesn't like me saying anything about ghosts. But I reminded her they are the same as spirits and we all are spirits. But she also has told us that when she sees red birds and shadows, someone is about to pass away. 🤷🏾♀️
Yea that stems from slavery and generational trauma a lot of our ancestors when they came over from Africa to the Americas and Caribbean they had to practice their traditions in secret bc they weren’t allowed to
Twice in my life I saw ghost and they were completely solid looking. None of that see through stuff. I actually thought one of them was my nephew. I only realized it wasn't him when the footsteps stopped and there was no one else in the house. Freaked me out!

I was born gifted and when I was little I would see the dead and my family didn't believe me and as I got older my gift got stronger but it was frustrating because I felt like I couldn't express what I would see in the future so I kept it a secret until one day God actually spoke to me and said I gave you this gift (Use it) For 25 years now I have been helping people getting their lives back on track in a positive way. I just learned in life people are going to judge you no matter what you do or say and I don't let anyone that negatively stops me from helping people.

My mom and I speak pig Latin❤❤. Grieve as long as you want my dad passed away in 1999 today is his birthday June 26th and I still miss him and I still cry so it doesn't matter how long he's gone you're still going to grieve sometimes I hear a song or smell something and it reminds me of him
My mother has been gone 44 years and I still grieve her. It's is normal. Her birthday and Mother's Day are the hardest. I think it's absolutely normal, tbh.

As a witness to my sister when she was little, she would see our grandfather like that. These babies are born with a veil over their face. It’s nothing to be scared of unless it’s harmful, which in most cases it’s not.
Our great grandmother was a medicine/shaman in our community which means we’re very spiritual people who see, feel and know things before they happen.
Most of us born and raised in church but gifted in the womb by the creator.

My little sister is the first grandchild of the only living child on her dad side. He had an older sister that passed 13 years before my sister was born. One day her grandparents took to the gravesite and she hollered her aunts name and ran straight to the site. She then told them that her red and purple dress ia pretty and that she really liked the flowers on it. Whwn they brought her home, they said thats the dress she was vurried in because she was baptized in it a year before. We then couldn't tell my sister her name because she would only go by her aunts name.

Man this sounds like my mom, unfortunately a lot of our parents try to overstep their boundaries and teach our kids what we were forced to believe growing up
What a beautiful story, I got so emotional while watching this because growing up, my mum always use to say things like "I don't want witches in my house." All because I was different, it's difficult to grow up in a religious household especially when you are spiritually gifted. My parents are pastoral and I am the first born and only daughter and I've got 2 younger brother's. I think the biggest disappointment for my mum was realising that she'll never have the daughter that she imagined for me to be with all the expectations that she had set for me to be a youth leader and end up being in the ministry as well. Fortunately for me, my journey had me living away from my parents because of that and when we had reconciled it was too late to uproot my gifts or spiritual consciousness. I've made peace with the fact that we'll never be ride or dies but I'm grateful that the universe blessed me with my soul tribe that understands and support me.
May the universe continue to guide Anna and may she grow up to embrace her calling and discover herself more. We need more awakened beings in this universe because the journey is getting heavier day by day as more people remain dead asleep spiritually and blocked out from their true identities. We've become so human, forgetting that our true nature is spirit and that's what we'll always be even though we're simply having a human experience!

This was such a good story. I don't know if I would call myself gifted but I have seen spirits before and I'm glad my mother and grandmothers never made me feel bad about it. When my grandmothers passed away I would see them sometimes and it made me feel good that they were still around and keeping track of me.
I’m grateful that even though my mom’s a Christian, she understood her gift,and so did my late grandmother and various other relatives so I had a pretty easy childhood in terms of being spiritually gifted.
This reminds me of the movie Sixth Sense. The little boy on that movie told his dad that he sees dead people. Whole time his dad was dead. Please do a review of that film.

My nieces and nephews who were born after my grandmother passed away, she's their great grandmother say random things that she would say. I rocks us sometimes no way they would know.
So basically the grandmother got triggered by the name of her abuser and took it out on a baby….got it

I just got in a slight argument with my Christian aunt about how I wanna raise my kids differently since my mom had passed, and how I want to do something different than the Christian way I was brought up. Idk if my kids have gifts they are 4 and 1, but I have been drawn to spirituality since my mom passed and I refuse to give up on it.

Wow! Great story 👏 I am one of the few people in my family who could still see spirits. I have had the ability since around the child in your story. I try not to communicate though. I don't like hospitals and cemeteries at all because I see so many of them 😒
What do you see at graveyards?Do they stand and stare at living beings?
When I do go, I can see people looking at their loved ones who visit the graveside. I also see children playing with one another as if they were at a playground. I just feel sad when I see spirits trying to comfort people who can't see them.
I want to learn how to develop my spiritual gifts, I grew up in a very strict seventh day Adventist household, so I always had a bit of fear of exploring my gifts. It took a long time for me to realize I must have some form of clairaudience. I’d walk past people and hear their thoughts and since I wasn’t aware that was what was happening it caused me a lot of insecurities. Thinking people were saying those things I’d hear, about me even though it was probably directed towards someone else, although it affected me and made me more anxiety riddled and very self conscious.

I was like this growing up. Seeing spirits, paranormal activity, recollection of aliens, sensing beings, tapping into other dimensions, medium. Visions, healing. It's not as common now but luckily my parents didn't force religion on me.
Whew this story came at the right time. My daughter is now 7 and she was born with a gift. We don't know the correct term for it but she can sense a bad spirit in anyone. That being said my family history the women practice, however my husband is from Louisiana(if you know you know). My daughter's both show something different my oldest is into crystals (I am not), the other can sense a bad spirit. My grandma (dad side) is a big Christian and she claims they spirits need to be saved 🙄 chile.

Growing up in a very haunted house, I saw so much. My parents told me it was my imagination (no religious background). But I KNEW what I saw. As I grew up, I found my community of gifted friends. It has helped me know what questions to ask my kids when they saw things and I could help them understand better. I would always ask how it made them FEEL and help them lean into that. Today, my oldest is 18 and has missed several incidents that could have gotten him hurt or in trouble. And he's got a good group of friends. All because he knows how to trust his intuition. My other son is 11 and we're still working on it. But I'm grateful I was doubted as a kid so I could teach my boys to trust themselves.
I had a pair of Foster parents like this for a couple years.
Actually, it was just mostly the mom.
So I get it.
I wish I had known a wise spiritual advisor when I was young.
I'm still struggling.

My oldest daughter use to take two plastic hangers and shake them and talk like she was narrating a story or movie. This started when she was around 4 or 5 years old. I asked her about it and she said she could see things, like whatever she was imagining she could see playing out in front of her like a movie. I still didn't understand the hangers so I asked a lady that worked at a conjure store I went too. She said that my daughter was using the hangers to break up realms and that it was a form of astral projecting...... She still does it from time to time, but she's a teenager now, so she does it in private.

@@roselynholloway7863 She explained it like when a kid is playing pretend, whatever she is seeing in her head, basically comes to life in front of her when she does it, like she can actually see the people and things like a projection screen. I wondered if I should try to stop her, but I don't want to block it if she has the gift to see or something that she'll need to use in the future.

My youngest grandson can "see". A few days ago he asked me to tell the boy next to him to stop talking. There was no boy I could see. I'm also very sensitive. Although I could not see what he did I do believe him. I saw many things as a child.

When I was a kid I used to see people that weren’t there especially at my grandparents house I told her later in life that was the reason I was afraid of the dark and didn’t want to sleep by myself. The older I got i stopped seeing people but always sensing things around me and I also have times where I can predict when someone is dying (never specific) I’m almost always right that’s been going on from teens to and now 22
I am so happy that baby girl is tapped in and feel safe enough to tell her mom everything.
