In the region of Puglia there is a market everyday besides Thursday, these markets play a vital role in the towns and surrounding villages buying everything from local produce to flowers and even clothes, its the one stop shop or shops... for everything they need.
I thought "heck" why not try and visit as many of these markets as we can in one week? seems like a good plan right?
In this epic episode of H.T.E we take a Drive to the middle of Puglia and end up in Martina Franca, a place full of history and streets lined with market stalls! This is the second street market on our journey of one a day through-out the week.
We meet some more local legends and market stall holders as well as spend some cold hard Euros on delicious cheese, fruit, veg, the best bread in all of Italy, clothes and some shoes .

You’re not wrong mate, I think it’s very impressive though that the southern Italians are very resourceful and never let any bread go to waste, using it as bread crumbs, frizelle, soups and even with mushrooms and beans!
