A huge amount of work went into this short and I’m so grateful to the incredibly talented cast and crew who made it possible. I’m currently developing Venus into a feature film, so hopefully this is just the beginning of Iris’s story…

Excellent you're making this into a film. One question: Instead of the "worker" breaking through glass. Should it have been a kind of electronic force field? I love how creative people can bring an entire world to life in only a few minutes. This doesn't look like the future I would wish for my grandchildren (more like Star Trek), but sadly it appears all too possible. Kids, I'm so sorry we screwed the pooch!
The alternative was her death and non-existence .. at least now she has a chance to sustain her consciousness and self-identity .. may be. Hopefully further episodes will explore her attempts to regain connectivity with the new word in which she exists.

This honestly felt more emotionally resonant than 60h of Cyberpunk 2077! The particle disintegration CGI effects in the consciousness transfer sequence were a bit dodgy but everything else was honestly Hollywood level! You should be proud of your hard work Andrew! Xo take care

Very, very interesting! This has great potential for a Sci-Fi TV series. rather than a feature film, because there are so many things to be explored, a feature film simply won't do it justice!

Jebus, Wow, Amazeballs this should be a Film or TV series I was lost watching this short you folks have made something special, I know this has been done before but the characters, look, setting, feel are superb and to pull me in in such a short time at my age again Wow and keep up the good work you have a big thumbs up from me.

Great idea. The actors played very well. The graphics are on top. We played well with the color at the beginning, but the ladybug just finished it off!
The only thing I didn't expect about knives, but it would be good for action!
I was waiting for her to show more abilities. For example, to influence objects and electronics, but not at her will, but spontaneously in critical situations.
Let's say after the final frame, she certainly can't handle knives, but to knock down with energy, already at the end of the fight, when she almost lost ... yes.
And more. In the full film, through the action, I would add shots with a lavender field and her mother.
Maybe the mother still won't die and in the end they will meet, on a cybernetic level.
I'll be waiting for the full movie.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! And it's funny you should mention an ability to control other tech - because that might be just be a major part of the feature film script... There's also a lot more involved with the mother and their relationship.

She slowly tilts her head back, the ladybug flies from the tip of her nose into the clouds. Titles.

Interesting choice in a purpleish spectrum. It's a rare work when I see what approximates what I see in UV-C. UV-B and A tend to be ore violet.
A biologist suggested downconversion by proteins, no reason to argue.
Cataract surgery, removed a damaged by trauma lens and replaced it with an uncoated lens. I also see brilliantly a near IR illumination device and worse, laser.
the sentry droids are scary.
Definitely needs to become a full length feature film!

Well done - very BLADE RUNNER like vibe complete with the rain..... would be a great seed for a tv series pilot... also has that TERMINATOR T-1000 feel when Iris's arms turned into swords...
