So how is your set up? You have comcast coax internet going into the Dream Machine and the T-mobile gateway as well via etherrnet and the Dream Machine automatically switches over to T-Mobile gateway when it detects there is no Comcast internet? Or you do you switch it manually?

The Dream Machine Pro allows for two internet connections and will switch automatically between the primary to backup and back when primary is back. This is one way to do this. There is also software like Speedify for bonding and backup for multiple internet provides.

@@BasicNAS Nice. Was thinking about a 4G LTE failover hotspot router thingy but I think this is a much better path for not much more money.

Depending on you end plan this could be a nice way to go. I been playing around with different ways to bring in multiple internet providers from hotspot, phones and 5G home internet. I think I have 2 maybe 3 other videos of me testing thing out from just using Speedify on a computer with 4 different ISP to a computer with 4 different ISP outputting to a router for faster and failover internet.

The fact that if TMO new Home Internet had a antenna cable that you could plug into the back of the device and then the other would run out your window and you could mount it to the outside of your home that would bring me outside signal to the inside which seems to be the main issue with a lot of cell phone companies when you live 1 mile or better away that signal is not very strong on the inside of the home but can be very good on the outside I just wish people that are using the newer device when offer T-Mobile feedback and maybe see if they wouldn't create a 5G device that would support this kind of setup and then just offer it with the device or maybe you would have to buy it separate which either way would be great because the issue that a lot of people are having with the service now is that 5G signal is not strong enough it's not making it in the people's homes or again if you're farther away that outside signal will be much better than what it is inside so just being an option to be able to have included with the device or as an option to buy would be amazing and would probably definitely make the service worthwhile but at the same time you can't port forward which gives you a strict NAT type on Xbox PlayStation and PC if you have your Microsoft account linked and play games on your computer and being able to be able to port forward and all that good stuff UPnP a public IP which is all included with a normal ISP but also right now the service for a lot of people at slowing down or their signals just too weak even when they do live pretty close to a tower so these antenna synonyms for a newer device would be great because people are tearing them apart on RUclips and then they're adding the antennas but you have to solder and all that and a lot of people just don't know how to do that and I don't understand why they just can't create a new device and they're not allow antenna to be included are at did on when just basically screwing it down as like a coax cable and then you know you would have the antenna but this would require the brackets and all that good stuff so but definitely would be kind of cool and I would recommend customers that are using the newer device to definitely give feedback to T-Mobile because this here seems like it would be great

The UDM Pro is designed to support two internet providers.
