Anyone in the right mind would know that the pile of rust and holes held together by the remains of the paint that you started with was only fit for the landfill. Lucky you lot are all crazy enough to take this restoration task on. Can't wait to see the final result.
Your efforts on this car are amazing. To be honest I don't think I have seen such a rusty car. I remember many years ago a guy, who lived two doors up from my parents house, who bought a 65 T bird to restore. Unfortunately the car was not restored and slowly rusted and sank into his garden over a 20 year period. Despite several people wanting to buy it the guy wouldn't sell and when he passed away the family had the car cut up where it lay and even the big block went in the skip. This said I don't think it was as rusty as the Cosmo. It will be great to see it back in all its glory.
It was very nice to watch you all take part in finishing the car. Everyone's craftmanship is top notch in my opinion. I don't know anything about the later stages of your project, because I'd rather watch the videos in order until the end. I hope you don't mind.
Every time I look at the arse end of that car it reminds me of another car think it’s a Vauxhall chevette lol but not sure 😂 certainly looking great fellas monumental job 👍
Do you have hole saws and or cone cutter , sorry not being able to get to show , would have loved to see car in person and congratulations on all your hard work
Why you guys keep fooling your viewers? This is no mazda cosmo, its a YCR.😂😂 jokes aside, you guys basically build the whole car. Much respect. And love the video's.
I presume that there was a reason why you didn't the plasma cutter for those footwell/bulkhead panels. It looks as though it would have been ideal - did you just not have enough time to do the computer work ? Best wishes.
@@russthebiker Ooh, don't get me wrong, I completely agree with you. However, there are more than a few cases where the owner claims "money is no object" and then they start to realize the resto is going to cost way more than they expected. Then the project gets halted... It doesn't look like this will happen to this resto.. It would be interesting to see what the final tally ends up.. 🙂

My heart almost stopped, when I saw the thin black line, in my laptop screen. Later the error has be gone, and I went back many times to becalm myself...
Love your tremendous effort to get this beauty on the road again. To me, it deserves at least a 20B … 😅 Have you ever seen the art of metal work of this woman? Also absolutely amazing skills…😮 youtube.com/@stoutmetalcraft?si=geBD2MOQNNmil0RF
With the car stripped, the rear end of the cosmo reminds me of the front end of a Vauxhall Chevette
Thanks Ryan for taking the time to do this videos. Is great to see how the cars progressing.
Incredible transformation of a car. Which most would have discarded as unrepairable
This is definitely my favourite restoration on this channel. I'm constantly amazed by the amount of rust you keep uncovering.
Love the camera and editing co work. And keep using the wonderful soundtrack! Extremely enjoyable video. Thanks.
Agreed, love the soundtrack!🐞

This car made Schmee’s 914 look like only a door ding repair. Crazy, when does it stop being a Cosmo and just a handmade replica!? 😜
Such skill. Great stuff, fellas. I could watch these ask day. 👍🏻
Keep these long video’s going, I like them

Soooo much rust on this poor thing.. Can't imagine the cost of attempting to do a restore of this level..
Its not about money
its about passion
and preserving a rare sports car

Have you guys ever tried a polydisc for removing paint? Polydisc is for polishing ss, I believe.
I’d like to see the gti-r done you have outside or give it to me and I’ll do it😊
Who gets first drive ? Dad or Ryan ????
Don't forget to cut your beard 😅
You need hole saw blades
