The truth, I’m scared to check it. I’ve never checked just because I tow a lot of trailers that can be heavy. I’ll say this, when towing, she’s very thirsty. When not towing and not driving like a bat out of hell, she does ok. I normally won’t let the tank get below half a tank because they way gas prices are, if I let it get almost empty it’s costs me about $85 to fill up using 87 octane. So no normally I let it get to about 3/4 tank and I fill it up again and I use 89 octane

I agree with you on the lights on the front end of the truck the 2018‘s front end bulky front in is much better you’re turning radius yes I agree about turning radius now stopping behind somebody I don’t agree with you because the rule of thumb is you should be able to see their bumper or their license plate in front of your hood of your truck when you stop behind somebody other than that you’re too close and you can get into an accident and insurance company will say you hit the guy you were parked too close in front or in behind them and you will have to pay that’s my rant on the pulling up behind parking behind somebody or stop behind somebody, The radio yes they’re having issues with radios that are connected to the system the dealership systems are all connected through Wi-Fi or through their cellular service and they monitor your vehicle so yeah there’s an issue with the system rebooting all the time when it updates or connects or disconnects from their system. Yes gas my truck is a 5.3L and when pulling, it’s 8 to 10 mpg. If they didn’t put all those additives in there you’d get better gas mileage it’s the gas additives that are causing the issues because of this environment activists want clean or air. Also Those tires are not made for mud

It's not perfect but I like this truck. I test drove a 2500 Silverado regular cab gas 4x4 WT. I'm 5'10" and need a higher driver's seat and the Custom and LT offer it as an option. My biggest concern is the ride off pavement. I drive a lot of logging roads and wonder if it's going to beat me up. I'm interest in the double cab standard bed configuration. It's slightly longer than the regular cab which has a tighter turning circle.

    • @eriksmith7829

I’m 5-11 and I’ve thought about putting a cushion on the seat to sit up higher, especially because of that high hood. I will be buying a second one but this one will probably just be the 2 door version. Don’t need another one with 4 doors.

@@dantimber so honestly this is my first truck in forever. I had an F150 back in 2004 and never went off toad with that. All of my off road now is at the landfill which is all dirt road (somewhat bumpy dirt roads) and it has inclines at the landfill. Thank god I got the 4 wheel drive because I have needed it many times when it has rained at the landfill. When I get new tires I plan to get more of a mud tire because of this. When I drop off dumpsters for clients it’s mainly on driveways and once in a while in yards. I’ll say this, my wife drives it at times and she finds it comfortable. Her biggest struggle is climbing in because it sits so high. That’s why I installed those step bars. They help a lot. She uses a pillow to see over that high ass hood
