That's really helpful. Thanks. I've got a large Palmer and I'm looking for an additional 4 pedal size board. My new, rechargeable PS is literally a large factor.
I'm currently on a lookout for my first pedalboard and your video might just have helped me out with deciding which pedalboard to get. Thank you so much! Definitely subbing.
What kind of washers should I get. I just ordered the 50s and noticed a few videos of guys trying to fix the height problem to accommodate the powersuply , thanks!
Hey Neil, thanks for watching! Welcome to the wonderful (and never ending) world! I am sure you will find a lot of enjoyment! Glad you found it useful. All the best, Neil
Hi and thanks for the comparision. I saw another unboxing of the Palmer 50s and noticed the bolts for the feet seemed pretty short. Were you actually able to fit enough washers under the bord to lift it enough for the Fuel Tank Jr to not make the board wobbly?
Hey Brucie. Interesting comparison. I have the old pedal train nano which I believe is even smaller then this one. You're totally right about the pocket on the case. I shove down extra cables and other stuff just under the board when I need to take it somewhere but a pocket would have been really nice. I have a larger version of the Palmer which works really well too!
Hi Simon, thanks for watching. Yes I have stuff cables under the nano as you mention, but as mentioned I think the pocket is such a simple and much more elegant solution! The larger versions are great, I have the 40 and 60 which cost the same as a single pedal train, very happy with these! All the best, Neil
Thanks for watching. If you mean the small Pedalbay then sadly no it does not fit. It only fits under the larger (raised) Pedalbay boards. Sorry about that.
@@NeilSpencerBruce Ok, thank you very much Bruce for answering me. I saw a vidéo where a kid, not without forcing a bit, managed to install the truetone under the palmer board. Might do this aswell... thanks again and have a nice Easter WE !
If only I had found your vid earlier - I'd had bought a Palmer, now I have a nao + and I'm just missing those 4 centimeters :-) Thanks for the review, regards from Munich, Florian
Hey Hugo, thanks for watching. To be honest I am not aware of an equivalent on Palmer in the US. They also rebrand under Harley Benton (Thomman) here in Europe, so I am guessing there might be a US rebanded OEM version. The only company I can think of might be Adam Hall but I am not sure. Sorry about that. All the best, Neil

I realize this review is a couple of years old but I just got a pedaltrain nano + and the case does include a zippered pouch on the front.

Hey Jousteh, thanks for watching and subbing. Glad it was useful, if you have any questions, let me know. all the best, Neil
Also the position of the belt clip on the pedaltrains is very uncomfortable when you carry them.
Thanks for this - been trying to figure out whether to get the Palmer. I have a bigger one of theirs and love it but need something smaller too.
No worries, thanks for watching. Enjoy your pedalboard!

I am not sure to be honest, you only need a small amount of height increate, perhaps a couple of mm.
I have just started exploring the wonderful world of pedalboards. Many thanks for a very informative review.

Hi Brucie! Thank you for sharing and will share this video for my guitar enthusiastic friends...
Thank you!

Hi Bruce, thanks for this video. Just a question, does your truetone CS6 fit bellow the pedalbay ? thx in advance !

Pedaltrain must have listened to you. I bought mine this week and its bag has a zippered top pocket measuring approximately 15x5x1 inches.

Thanks for watching! Yes those 4cm make all the difference! Stay safe, all the best, Neil
Nice!
Thanks!!
Hi interesting comparison. Would you be aware of an equivalent company that makes these Palmer but in North America ?

@@NeilSpencerBruce apextone pedalboard
@@Duncan-Strongo Thanks for that Duncan.
@@NeilSpencerBruce
I just bought a pedalboard of the Apextone brand, it is identical to the Palmer that appears in the video and is very good.
@@Duncan-Strongo Great stuff! Yes I think they are an OEM board which then gets rebranded around the world. I am very happy with mine!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh Bruuuuuucie
Thanks!
Pedaltrain must of heard you they now have a zipped pocket on the front
Haha I wonder if they did :) Make a lot of sense and is very useful!
