Nice build. My only two suggestions are 1, add rock wool type insulation between barrel and outer skin. And 2, adjust the air fuel mix. That yellow flame is showing inefficient burn. Should be blue flame with yellow tips. You'll get a higher temperature and faster

I'm sorry I don't know what's available in the market for sale to be honest, we tried to make our own gas-fired oven (the one in this video) then we made a wood -fired one (in this video ruclips.net/video/VKIzuWFK_AI/видео.html). For us the wood-fired is way more efficient because wood is more available to us in comparison with propane gas. The only advice I can give is that you should invest in the one that is more efficient for the long term.

Don't Let this pizza bug bite ya. There many things just setting around looking for some attention ~ A smoker or even a Kettle grill ALL YOU NEED IS PIZZA PANS Truthfully i prefer steel over the stones, Cook bottom better
These pizzas look great!I used to be a wood fired oven pizzaiolo, i made tens of thousands of pizzas and i would not be ashamed if one of mine came out looking this good. Shame we didnt get to see the bottom. How long did it take for them to cook? It took about 3min for mine to cook. My ideal bottom temperature was around 300 celsius but the flame would be way higher.. but then again you have 2 sources of heat. Anyway good job!
I appreciate comments like yours, next time for sure I'll show the bottom too. Actually Im nowhere near a professional pizza maker, we just create stuff like this oven here for example and in this video we gave it a try and showed some details based on comments like yours so thank you.
A Neapolitan pie should cook in 60-90 seconds, not 3 minutes. Ideally deck should be 8-900 degrees fahrenheit and the dome 13-1500 degrees. Sorry but these pizzas would be banned in Italy. Not stretched properly and didn't see any leoparding. A nice raised cornicconi (Canotto style) would be nice.
Hey! Your Barrel Oven reminds me of the spit roast rigs I used to work on at University. Would love to see you fit a rotating spit longitudinally to your oven, (of course you'd need a drip tray on the deck) and see you try it out. 😊

nice video great build but the flames are to yellow you need to give a bit more oxygen to the gas mix so the flames burn better by opening a gap between the gas jet and the pipe so it can bread better still like i said great work im going to build one just like it for me

You could also add an inch thick layer of clay soil inside the oven, we use that for making tandoors ( indian clay oven).

as for the time it took, it was also pretty fast I barely stopped the camera and to my surprise they were already well cooked

The flame should be bluish..you should have a venturi type y- connection n air regulator to maximize usage of the (gas) fuel. My ipinion only

no, we let it burn many times for a long time. Then clean it well with baking soda and water or vinegar
