The moonlight is one of my favorites, I have them outside all year because I live in Trinidad/Caribbean and they thrive in our temperature, your plant is beautiful. !!
@@GloriasPlants I am about to find out. These are my first ones so wish me luck. I need to replant both of them. One is root bounded and the other one is wobbly
I ❤️ Philodendrons!!! Thanks for the info.👏🏽🪴🙂 My FAVORITE is Billietiae I bought one and a month later bought a second on. As a backup, in case I do something wrong etc. The stem is orange. So far my new FAVORITE plant. My Wishlist now is the Burlemarx. I'm told it produces 3 leaves then another 3 leaves etc.... I have the Birkin and Rojo Congo
Mine is really browning at the tips. Any thoughts on why? I feel like I’ve tried everything. It certainly doesn’t look as happy as yours. I love this plant so much but it has me puzzled
it's hard to tell why but i find when i get browning in the tips instead of yellowing...its more so the water that you're giving the plant. Maybe switch from tap water to filtered or distilled water! and doesn't hurt to check the roots to see if there is anything wrong
I just a got a Philodendron a week ago she was so cute and huge I put her in a midum light but unfortunately she's starting to yellowing so guys if anyone wants to Buy a Philodendron just make sure that u put her in a High light
@@GloriasPlantsIdk I have the Imperial red and it's happy tho but the yellowing thing :( I Think that every kind of Philodendron has a different way to care of ,btw I moved it to a brighter place
unfortunately i have since sold the plant as it no longer sparked joy for me! when i initially bought it, i was really happy with it but then i dived into the world of hoya and my house is taken over by them now lol
Hi. I bought this plant last week and I noticed that one of the leaves has a lot of brown stuff on it on top of the leaf and underneath the leaf. What should I do. Thank you.
@@GloriasPlants I do not believe. I let the earth dry between 2 waterings, but the earth put at least 2 weeks to dry (so twice as long as my other philodendron who are next).
what does it mean if my philo moonlight new leaf growth is very small and deformed? i keep it near the window and water it when the soil is almost completely dry😭😭😭😭

Rey Hosein thank you. I wish the temperature was that nice here for plants to be outdoors year round!
by any chance, you can share a pic? thank you!
I wish I could, dont know how to do that on the comments section, if I figure it out, I'll post a pic.
I just got a philodendron lemon lime today and another philodendron but with darker reddish colors... I'm excited!!
Zury Genao that’s awesome. I love how easy philodendrons are 😊.

@@zuryrose good luck! :D
It sounds to me that the other might be a Prince of Orange if the stems are reddish and same leave shape :)
Uuuu may be red one be a philodendron rojo Congo? It’s a deep wine red when it matures-beautiful plant
Quite a useful and precise video, keep it up. 👍
Thanks for watching!

Yours is so pretty! Another plant I don't have. LOL Will enjoy watching your plant grow!
blueovalgal thank you so much. It seems to be a fast grower so I think I’ll pot this baby up in a larger pot soon!
I love the colors of the leaves, wow!
Plant Mama Tatiana me too! So bright and neon
Same leave shape as a Prince of Orange :)
Great review. I just ordered one today.
Nice nice! Hope it does well for you!
Thanks so much for the information!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for shaaring
I have been researching this plant for the last 2 days, but nobody can seem to tell me what this plant is a hybrid of or where it originates...

Good plant
Yes, thanks
I Would really like to get one of these and was wondering if you thought it would thrive a few feet away from the north facing window?
it can tolerate lower light situations such as few feet away from a north window, but probably would not thrive.
I just a got a Philodendron a week ago she was so cute and huge I put her in a midum light but unfortunately she's starting to yellowing so guys if anyone wants to Buy a Philodendron just make sure that u put her in a High light
Mine has done perfectly fine in my north facing window which doesn’t get bright light at all

Hi. I bought this plant last week and I noticed that one of the leaves has a lot of brown stuff on it on top of the leaf and underneath the leaf. What should I do. Thank you.
Seems like dirt?
mine rotten at the base, but the roots look good. I reppot it in soil for green plants and perlite. Do you have any idea of the problem?
Chloé Meier rotting of any sort is usually due to over watering?

Hello all other plant lovers! Planterina has these for FREE with a purchase right now!!! I just got one today!
unfortunately i'm in canada and won't be able to purchase!
what does it mean if my philo moonlight new leaf growth is very small and deformed? i keep it near the window and water it when the soil is almost completely dry😭😭😭😭
could be getting adjusted to your new environment as sometimes new leaves are small when that happens!
So I just got my moonlight Pothos and one of the light green leaves is like wavy and I’m not sure if I should cut if off or not
if it isn't yellowing, I personally wouldn't cut off a leave just because its a little misshapen or wavy :P
Don't cut it. I have two wavy leaves and over time, they unfurled or flattened.
Im confused. Some say lots of light, others say medium to very little light , like in the shadows . Im not sure where to put mine 😕
I'll will have to just test it and see but just don't want to make the plant unhappy and unhealthy
i would say this plant isn't super picky in terms of light. as long as it's not in direct sunlight as it can burn the foliage!
so cute
Can you please tell me how to propage or divide it
Is moonlight philo the same with golden philo?
no they are different. they have different growth habits and leaves are slightly different colour
Looks like Imperial Green
What soil do you use
I usually use 2 parts potting mix and 1 part perlite for my aroids
Which type of soil? Thanks.
i use 2 parts any potting mix and 1 part perlite for my aroids that are still in soil. Otherwise i like to grow most of my plants in semi hydro leca
U didn’t discuss soil
You are beautiful like this moonlight
Is moonlight philo is the same with lemon lime philo?
No they are different. One is an upright philo and the other is a vining one
