Italy has one of the richest history in the world. From the teramare people, Etruscan kingdom, Roman Empire, Papal State, Renaissance and more. I don't think there is another region that has influenced the western world so much and for so long as the Italian peninsula. The history and culture is just immense.

@@pyropulseIXXI Lol what? The Germanic tribes didn't count anything evem for the history of country like Germany. The only relevant Germanic tribe were the Franks and they started to be relevant knly when they got romanized in every aspect. What the Franks did was collecting the ledacy of the Romans and this brought Europe to the dark age. Then, after many years, Europe went over Renaissance, the age of discovery, the scientific revolution, etc. All those three phases started with Italy at the center of the European history. The Renaissance is an Italian thing, the age of discovery was promoted by Marco Polo experience, and Italian cartographers and started when two Italians discovered the new world. The scientific revolution was a consequence of the Humanism, birth in Italy, and was boosted by Galileo Galilei, again an Italian. Who brought the Arab numbers in Europe was again an Italian, Fibonacci. The greatest artists, scientists, explorers, cartographers, writers, where all Italians. Who do you think invented the modern music? The Italians with Opera, Piano Forte, and Violin. All the western world history is based on the history of Italy

Thank you for this. Looking forward to part two. Once, when I was little, I asked my Nona about where she was from. I distinctly remember her stating, the northern Italians are blond and blue and to southern Italians (brown hair, brown eyes) did not consider northern Italian as true Italians. Same with Sicily/Sicilians. She said you will know them by their olive tone skin.

I hate when I'm at a peace feast, vibing and drinking with the lads, and M'lord bisects the man what leads those we're making peace with. Really dampens the mood.

One of the countries I recommend doing the history of is Hungary. A lot of interesting things concerning the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the invasion of the Ottoman empire.
