RM is the leader of the supergroup BTS. He just released a solo album, and last week he also released a music video called “Wild Flower” if you want to check it out.
Man this our leader RM (real name Kim Namjoon). He is the leader and one of the main lyricist from BTS. Some people make the mistake to look down on BTS because the whole boy band prejudice thing. They are awesome! 3 rappers (02 of them were underground before BTS) and 4 crazy good vocalists.
This song is part of Indigo. The new solo album by RM.
Anderson couldn't make it to Korea at the time. But trust me, back in April of this year BTS and Anderson performed together in California...it was amazing...Anderson on Drums...he was killing it...and I don't know if you are aware but Anderson is half-Korean. His last name is Paak, but it is spelled, Park. But they pronounce it Paak. So that is why he spells it here. It's the same thing with Choi...we pronounce it the way it looks but it is supposed to be pronounced Chwae. So a little info I hope helps u out

@D. K. Hapsari you are correct that it was shown first in June. But Miss Santos is also correct that they filmed in April. So when they came to Las Vegas for the Grammys and their last 4 concerts. They were actually here (I live in Las Vegas) for about a month. JK was the first one here, and ended up having covid when he landed here. And Hobi also had it before he got here.
So besides the concerts and Grammys, they filmed their "Yet To Come" MV just outside of Vegas, in our sand dunes, (oh and BTW if you watch the bangtan bomb of the making of the video, V was really out in one of the strongest wind storms the Vegas had seen in about 35 years, 70 m.p.h. winds.) Also they took a quick trip to the California desert (either Indio or Coachella) to film the performance for us...
So yes you are both right.

A lot of people don’t know that BTS raps. Actually, they have 3 rappers who all release solo music, and do music together as well as music with the 4 BTS vocalists. Highly recommend you check out RMs other solo stuff as well as his stuff worth the BTS rap line, Ugh! Outro: Tear live at Wembly Stadium with English Subtitles, and of course the BTS RAP Ciphers 1-4.

RM and Wale 'Change' has been on my playlist for 2 years now, and I'm never tired of it. Best collab to date (in my opinion). It was released in 2016 in the UK, but not in the States. RM is the leader of BTS. He is an extraordinary rapper. He produces and writes also. They are extremeley talented. This is his first solo album. Anderson´s kid is a BTS fan and they met at LAS Vegas and did a collab with Anderson in the song Yet to Come (live). Getting into BTS is not getting into kpop but a gigantic journey. Hundreds of great songs. They are 7 amazingly talented young men. The whole INDIGO album by RM is spectacular.
RM is also a collector and supporter of modern art and artists, both global and Korean. With that knowledge, the song Still Life has extra layers of meaning.
Anderson .Paak is on the chorus and hook. He is undoubtedly the hook master, adding groove and soul to almost any song and genre. RM kills on the rap and has swag throughout. He and RM are friends and respect each other as artists. Their conversation added in is so sweet and appropriate since they both are talented, creative and willing to experiment and not tied to the rules of the game. The visuals on this music video are really good, too.
The MV was filmed in South Korea, so that's probably why Anderson wasn't in the MV. RM's new album, Indigo came out 10 days ago. He is the leader and one of the 3 rappers of BTS.

But well even without the radio support they are nowadays one or the most powerful group in the World because of their fandom Army who support them and grew organically together because they are not just a typical western boybands. They all are amazing talented, humble, genuine, caring humans helping tons of people across the World.

RM said that when he first saw a painting in a museum titled 'Still Life' in English, since he isn't a native English speaker he interpreted it as meaning that the flower in the painting - which has lived hundreds of years ago when the painting was created - was "still alive" because the artist capturing it on canvas gave it an eternal life thru its continuing image
Anderson does appear in BTS' live recorded performance in Las Vegas of "Yet To Come" from their "Proof" album - he's playing drums and singing and talking a bit with them afterwards if you want to look up the video on RUclips.

RM is the leader of BTS. He's fluent in english and Japanese along with his first language Korean. He's a lyricist, rapper, producer, singer and a dancer. He has a background in the Korean underground hiphop scene, he was popular as a 13 yo rapper that older dudes wouldn't dare to compete with on a rap battle. Anyway he just realized his first official album "indigo" and it's a piece of art. He has released 2 mixtapes before as a member of bts, and a couple when he was an underground rapper. He has collabs with walé, Warren G, fall out boy and many other American artists. He's called "the philosopher who raps" because of his powerful way of writing his lyrics and he's to me a lyrical genius.

Bts is no boyband, and they’re really bringing to the table what no one else before them did. I’ll always be very glad if ppl actually try them out, they are nothing like what the general public make them out to be. There’s a reason why they have the biggest fandom in the world. The group is built on a base of hiphop, and they add their own taste and culture into the mix to build a very unique genre of their own. They are very versatile and have songs in almost every genre now, including Latin pop, R&B or African influenced music. They also write, produce and compose their own music, there are a lot to look forward to in their lyricism, they write about a lot of very meaningful things, it’s one of the main reasons why the fandom is so diverse. Their rapping are also incredibly good, 2 of the members used to be underground rappers. They are also very good dancers, one of the best in the entire industry, world level. There is no exaggeration in anything I’ve said, therefore there’s a reason why they’re the biggest group in the world and leading in terms of streams and album sales worldwide. Do check them out, it’ll definitely be worth the surprise. Not the English songs though, those don’t do their talent and diversity justice. I’d recommend starting with live performances in their last concert: Run bts + UGH + Cypher pt3 (Yet to come Busan concert). You can do it in one video, It shows the vocal, rap, dance, performance and coordination aspect of the team very nicely
I really think you'd LOVE his new album, INDIGO. Try it out. I'd also recommend an older song called Joke. He's something else....He's part of the group BTS, from South Korea....so much talent in that group, you won't believe it. They have 3 rappers - RM, SUGA, and JHope. If you wanna see all three go at it together, try BTS' Cyphers - you're gonna be blown away!!! And, yeah, turn your cc button on for their vids, cuz their lyrics are absolute fire!

I appreciate your open mind : ) I recommend you the title single for his solo album, "Wild flower". This song is GREAT!! Lyric, Scene, Flow, Vocal, everything is just on point. However if you are interested in BTS as a whold group, then go to "On (Kinetic manifesto film)". You will not regret it. If you had no prejudice, then you would meet the whole new world : )
Hi! From RM i really recommend his album Indigo. He also have previous solo mixtape called Mono. He started as underground rapper, later became first member and leader of Bts in 2012. Bts come through a lot and it’s not possible to did not hear about them nowadays since they are very famous also in America. They have some english songs but if you are looking for depth in lyrics, i reccomend their korean stuff- their topics are mental health, social justice, self love and more. They have music in so many genres so anyone can choose their cup of coffee. If you like rap, i think you would apreciate their Cyphers, Tear, Daeng or RM’s Joke, Do you, Love, Seoul, Bicycle or anything from Indigo album. Looking up for more💜🫶🏼

It’s crazy that in a group of so many he could shine as a solo artist. Good for him. I watched the BTS Tiny Desk and it’s not my type of music at all but I can recognize their talent. But anytime I hear Anderson Paak I am happy 🙌🏾 Dissapointed that he is not in the video though 🥹

To answer your question, I would assume Anderson Paak is not actually in the mv because of a scheduling issue, or that it was filmed in South Korea.

What I love the most about them (besides the music, good lyrics and incredible performances) is the fact that all of them are pretty involved and passionate about making their own craft. That's why they are considered real artists and go beyond K-pop (K-pop is not a genre, it's an industry).
Since you don't know much about it, I will not talk that much, but basically BTS is really different and doing something that was not that common since the beginning. I think people find something special in them and that's why they are always at the top. 💜

I think you will enjoy watching the INDIGO interview where he explains the songs. He was actually looking at still life paintings (RM goes to a lot of museums and is a collector of art and is a poet before a rapper). He was thinking about how a flower that is dead for hundreds of years, can be captured on the painting by the painter. So hes talking about how his life, even though it is moving forward, it will be captured in that specific moment. He is an artist.

I highly recommend the BTS rapline songs UGH! and Cypher Pt. 3: Killer. Indigo is the album. 10 tracts which include 8 different collaborations. He has been working on it for 4 years.

RM (stands for Rap Monster and also RealMe) is the leader of BTS the korean group who kept breaking and creating records for the last 5 years. They make music as Soloists and as a group. You know them for songs like Butter and Dynamite probably but they don't make pop music, they have songa in many types of genres: hip hop, pop, ballads, latin, EDM, RnB and more. They're average views as a group is probably 1B, as Soloists probably 7M. They're big, his success is huge when you look at the numbers but as a BTS Member and successful Soloist, this is not surprising him at all, probably.
Btw, his real name is Kim Nam Joon (Kim is the last name and it's put first in korean. the Nam in his name is pronounced like the Nam in Namaste and Joon like June. You can call him Namjoon or RM)
