It's worth mentioning that this by Piero Umiliani. I know most people know it from Ocean's Twelve, but it would be a terrible disservice to all to fail to mention who wrote it.
I remember rampaging though the internet when I first heard this song. No one had this - Now that I've finally found one, and it's simply the best. The technique, the camera angles, the timing. You've mastered a beautiful piece, that in itself is quite an achievement. Love this song with every ounce of my soul.
Short story.... I watched ocean’s twelve one night 6 months ago and I heard this beautiful masterpiece. So I bought an acoustic guitar and searched on RUclips someone playing this song with a guitar. Now this was my first time ever playing guitar seriously. So I watched your video over and over and I started practicing on my guitar and in a matter of 6 weeks I could play this song by heart. In the past I have mastered instruments like trombone, baritone, trumpet, tuba, and saxophone. I guess that helped me already having that musical ear. But in conclusion I just wanna thank you bro, you helped me get numerous girlfriends and sex. Thanks man....
The Black Mamba you’re very welcome my bro!! I’m happy to have helped you achieving your goal of playing this song. And congratulations on your talent and work for learning the other instruments too!!! :))
Thank you for this. I am a beginner never imagined I would be able to play something that sounds so complex. After weeks of practicing and breaking it down section by section I was able to learn this challenging song. I have more practice to do to make it all sound more fluid but it feels good to be able to play one of my favorite songs
Wow! Congratulations on your well deserved success!!! I’m happy that this tutorial was helpful for you! Consistency is the key! All the best and keep up the good work! 🙌🙌

Music is a universal language. The soundtrack provides strings and the guitar in a symphonic structure. What you did with only a guitar was elaborate and mind blowing. This is a timeless piece and you brought life to it. All we are missing is a Tuscan veranda and a sunset…from one artist to another, thank you brother!
I've been playing guitar for about 1 year and a half and let me just say, this looks easy but it's the hardest piece I've ever tried to play! I can't even get the timing right! This guy is an insanely good player! My respects to you my friend! I wish one day I can be as good as yourself! 🙌🙌🙌
Good to see you anchor your thumb...my thumb hitting the D string was one of the constant problems I was having with this piece. Now i just need to strengthen my pinky.... :)
That bridge part from 0:30 - 0:40 is the hardest part for me and you just flew right thru it with ease! Good shit homie, killer track and some killer playing! 🤘
"His name was Cesari Fiorio, and he liked girls and powerboat racing." I honestly first heard this banger of a score in The Grand Tour and got hooked, and now I'm here.
La verdad que sos un maestro busque quede facinado con este tema desde que vi la película de la gran estafa . Quiero aprender a tocar la guitarra para algún día poder llevar a cabo este estribillo gracias y exitos !!
Hey @alextorresmusic loved your video, you play the song beautifully but would you mind doing a more specific tutorial like explain and elaborate your technique, which fingers to use and how to switch from chord to chord. The chords are easy to find and play after a little practice but the technique is difficult to catch.
playing at simple 1-e-en-da, 2-e-en-da, 3-e-en-da, 4-e-en-da 16th note rhythm doesn 't sound like this recording exactly. there seem's to be a slight pause after each bar, but i can't get it right. the other video with slow version seems to have the abovementioned simple pattern. can someone tell me please what is the rhythmic pattern for the strumming hand?
Kalvis Altens Much of the time he is doing 16th notes but on the 4 it’s an eighth note... 1e+a 2e+a 3e+a 4+ At other times it is just straight 16ths. Hope that helps.
Hello guys! Sorry for the late answer! I only saw this now. Well, if it still helps, all of the song is actually in 16th notes. It’s a repetitive arpeggio pattern. The thing is that I’m slowing down the tempo on purpose at moments, to make it more dramatic. It’s called -I believe- “rubatto” in classical music. Hope it helps. Bless!!!:)
Can anyone point me in the right direction for more music like this? Id love to know what genre this is so that i may listen and eventually learn to play like this
En mi ignorancia o desconocimiento, siempre creí que esta pieza era española.pero la verdad es una pieza muy hermosa transmite un sentimiento de amor muy profundo.

im trying my best to play this and it doesnt sound the same. maybe the type of string, chord? i cant see well if this is metal strings? it must be cuz i have nylon set, anyone know why?
criscross oz hello Criss! These are actually nylon strings! (More precisely Hannabach Flamenco high-tension strings). Well there are a lot of variables in the sound of a guitar. One of the main is... the hands and the person who’s playing. If you work hardly, patiently and wisely on your technique you will find your own marvelous way of playing this and any song in the guitar. All the best!!!!:)))

Dude, I love it!
As a total beginner and piano player, how long will it takes me to play this piece?
Mad Max years unless you are extremely talented and hardworking. its a very hard fingerstyle piece
Alex, what model Guitar are you using and Stings (Guage/Make), great sound.
Alex, do you mind if I use this audio on my next video? I'll attribute it to you, of course.
I'm going to master this song, one of the most complex, amazing pieces I've heard. And you nailed it!
Thanks so much for your words and best of success with the song! 🙌🙌🙌
I think if you really want to learn it you will. And I’ll just add that it’s not really that complex. You can do it!

Only one word, beautiful !
Nice playing. If you tune the low E up to an F, you can easily hit the A and F bassnotes in the main section since they are both open.
Thank you! I loved this every time they play it and just as wonderful when you do. Very majestic

awesome work!
Could anyone describe what style or genre this is? I love this song and have been trying to find similar songs to learn on guitar.
If only there was a specific category. It seems to be a fusion of Italian-jazz/Classic guitar. Not the most common genre out there 😂.
mon dieu comment vous arrivez a jouer ainsi bravoo
