Many comments have said it before me, but it can’t be said enough: this is the perfect lesson for the song, this version and your playing is incredible, thank you so much!
YASSSSS finally someone who gets it! The "5 star" tabs I've found are dead wrong and this song is a lot harder to play than those tabs would have you think. The first time I tried learning this song was years ago but I never finished it. I use Audacity to slow the song down so I got all the right notes, but my LH positioning was off. Now I can fix it thanks to this video and finally learn this beautiful piece! Like @saintxbre said, I've also been waiting for years for someone to make a video like this. I decided to learn this song again just today, I checked youtube, and voila! Thanks so much man, you're awesome.
Thank you so much man. I've been waiting since the beginning of RUclips for someone to make a video like this of Crepuscolo. Much love from Atlanta bro.
Alex really in love with the smoothness you have played this tune! I have heard the original many times, but the real beauty shows itself when the fingers move so effortlessly to produce this music!
@@marlononeal8746 Unfortunately, no....I can only recognize the vanilla chords, so I just had to slow down and zoom in, guitar in hand while trying to match it note-for-note. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, many, many, MANY times. It has taken months, with long breaks whenever burnout forced me away from it for sometimes weeks at a time. That's pretty much the only way you can learn something this beautiful, complex and difficult.....hafta admit that I cheated in the learning process once or twice in hopefully as unnoticeably as possible, just so I could make my fingers do what they were supposed to. It's just hard work and time, and never giving up, but take as long of a break as you need - months if necessary - so you don't give up and quit completely. In my mind, this is what separates the pros from the amateurs, lol
This is great, although that 4 finger spread across the 1st,2nd3rd,4th frets is a killer for my wrist. I cant seem to get the spread without muting strings unintentionally. Im learning it on a steel strin acoustic but i dont think it would make much difference.
BigDave thanks!!! Personally I find that these small detail issues that you mention are the ones who make big differences, and at the same time the ones which take a lot of discipline and consistency through slowly building up a good technique. I recommend you to find a good guitar technique teacher and develop and master small exercises, like the ones in the books of Carlevaro for example. All the best!!!:)
Thanks a lot! I can imagine you can already play it! If not yet, I've uploaded the tabs now, and you can downloading by supporting my Patreon page: Here are the links: www.patreon.com/posts/crepuscolo-sul-72096839?Link& www.patreon.com/alextorresmusic Again, thanks, and all the best! Alex
Alex this is so wonderful! Do you have the proper tabs or sheet music for this song - your video seems to be the only lesson online I can find that sounds musically correct & I would love to be able to practice with the tab or sheet music. Grazie!
Thanks a lot! Glad to hear that. I've just uploaded the tabs + sheet music on my brand new Patreon page. You can download it there: LINKS: www.patreon.com/posts/crepuscolo-sul-72096839?Link& www.patreon.com/alextorresmusic Hope it helps! Cheers!
Hey bro! Sorry for the late answer. But better late than never. To answer your questions. The system I used on that time: Pickup: K&K (I think the model is “Pure Mini”) plus K&K preamp In combination with an inside condenser pair of microphones. Brand and model of the mics: Miniflex Model 3. Reverb: Strymon Blue Sky. All the best bro! Alex
ah this is hard still learning guitar as well. I got the first couple chords down but have trouble sliding my fingers against the frets I’m always messing up do you have any tips. Also thank you beautiful video.
You can do it! Tips about your question: 1. try lifting the fingers instead of sliding when changing from one chord to the next. It lets the fingers rest for a millisecond and makes the transition sound cleaner. 2. when must slide for a sound effect, don’t press more than needed for the notes to sound clean. That way you won’t get tired or hurt your finger. 3. Practice one round of the song just playing the just the left hand chords. Good luck!
Stupid question, but this looks like a 7/8 or 3/4 classical...can't be full size. Those stretched chords would be well-nigh impossible to play otherwise. Anyone know?

Shane Prather one step at the time my bro! Try to focus in just 2-3 seconds each time. And when you master those 2-3 seconds, you go with the next 2-3 seconds... slowly you will conquer the whole song. But patience! Cheers!
