I used to be a legendary guitar player in my youth, I could play Wonderwall on repeat. One day my favourite pick went missing, guitar was never the same again for me.
Years later, and thoroughly over my troubles, I'm walking down the city streets, I look up and hear a crack and a thud. Breathless, and bleeding on the pavement, I get a glimpse of my killer.
My old pick, with a rifle zeroed in on me.
    This is my last post.

Also, my recommendation is to try playing Tears in heaven and Bard's song... they felt really difficult when I started, but improved my playing immensly and felt really satisfying to conquer! Great video, keep up the good work!

"Never going back again" Lindsay does play it like you did, but it can be done so much easier by tuning E and A down to C and G. Much more fun to play it without the endless bars.

Dani these are pop songs as in they are popular. Until more recently pop just meant popular and wasn't a genre like it is now. So when most of these were written they would have probably been considered pop.

Pedro Henrique R. M. Romeo and juliet is brilliant and quite hard. He has the tastiest fingerpicking style I have ever heard. There's a video of him explain how he "dropped the pick". Also Bert Janch is a very interesting fingerpicking man. Jimmy Page took a lot of inspiration (a bit too much even). I think Blackwater Side is the best of his and there are good old videos of that too.

I stopped using plastic picks, maybe 10 years ago when I switched to bone picks. I have about a dozen and I look after them. The great thing with them, aside from the bright tone they give, is that when the tip is worn you can re-shape it with a dremel tool. I haven't bought a pick in ages!
