- Unfortunately today is the day we leave Hong Kong! Before checking out we made sure to make the most out of our last day and decided to tour and grab some food in Disney's Explorer's Lodge resort. Thankfully our upgrade bid was accepted and we flew 13 hours in premium economy from Hong Kong to Amsterdam.
As one adventure ends, another one begins as we've already book our next Disney trip! Where do you think we're going to?

We have thoroughly enjoyed your Hong Kong Disneyland videos. Your enthusiasm is wonderful, and we enjoy listening to Kyn's laugh, which could cheer up anyone. We love Hong Kong and we have visited it from the United States five times through the years, and we're going for three weeks over Christmas this year. We have a fun story from Hong Kong Disneyland the last time we were there, in 2018. My wife and I are mismatched in size, as are you guys. I am 6'-2", and my wife is 5 feet, so she is at home with a lot of little Chinese people, but I really stand out. When we were at the parachute drop ride, a Chinese family in front of us kept laughing and pointing at me, and finally they made it clear by motions, not words, that they would like to take my photo. I said fine, and the mother and kids all gathered around me while the father took the photos. To this day we wonder if it was because of my height or whether they thought I was some foreign celebrity. If the latter, they would be disappointed when they found out the truth!
Aw thank you so much, that means a lot! And wow you guys must love Hong Kong but we can definitely understand why! We had such an unforgettable time whilst barely scratching the surface. And got to admit we had a good laugh to ourselves reading that last part haha!
We'll be going to Alton Towers in a couple weeks time and then Disneyland in a couple months too, hope you enjoy the videos! 😁
Thanks for these great vlogs Joe and Kyn - I have really enjoyed them all. You have a great story. I reckon that after all that travelling (13 hours for one flight - phew!!) you might be going next to Disneyland Paris as it will be much closer to home. Hope all goes very smoothly for your move to the UK Kyn. Best Wishes both.

I am so glad I stumbled upon your channel. I LOVE HK Disneyland.
Explorers lodge was being built when I was there in 2017, and I stayed there in 2019. It’s amazing. Such great value. Also, Hollywood has a great quick service and they had a bbq option by the pool when we were there last time.

Ah that makes sense, it certainly looked an amazing resort with lots of greats options and I agree about the value! That’s interesting to know, I believe Hollywood hotel is available to book again too.

Ah thanks so much, that means a lot ☺️ I’d definitely advise it if you get a chance, it is a much smaller Disney park in comparison to others but it’s so unique, we loved it!
And thank you, that’s very nice of you to say. A very good guess, all will be revealed soon 😉 We use a Nikon Z30, we haven’t long purchased it but we really like it so far. Such a good camera and a reasonable price too!

Duffy was in the US parks as well as Paris, but sadly he was universally disliked. The merch didn’t sell and his meet and greet was often empty.
Aw that’s so sad, poor Duffy 🥲 out of interest when was he in the parks?

Epcots kidcot used to have a Duffy colouring thing. He was in Paris in 2015 and both him and Shellie may were there for the DLP 25th

Are there any HKDL logo-ed T shirts anywhere? From one Brit to another who’s going to HKDL later this year 👋 and we found your videos quite informative
I’m glad to hear you found the videos useful. There are a lot of t-shirts in the emporium and in gift shops all over the resort that have the HKDL logo or HKDL themed so you’ll have plenty to choose from! ☺️
