Confirmed from Ardray that this is indeed natural colour and non-chill filtered. Shame it's not on the box or label though!
This is one that is on my radar to review. Interesting to hear your take on it.

Nice review Vin, sometimes all we need is 'I like this whisky, it's intriguing' from you 😃 I don't know dude yeah there are good blended whiskies out there and sure this one sounds like that as well but 55 pounds including the shipping still seems quite high to me for a blend. I don't want to be a snob about it but I don't drink every day, I don't necessarily have guard whiskies so when I do reach for a dram I want to be very very happy and unfortunately blends don't cut it. I use blends for cocktails or at the end of a long night with a lot of ice and for that I'll just pay 20 something and get a basic one. Sorry for the rant but this one, MacLeans Nose and Thompson Bros one although intriguing, I don't think are for my drinking habit/style. Cheers dude, thanks for this!
Unfortunately it's a very common opinion that the cheap blends have a lot to answer for (and some very clever marketing from the single malt guys). But I get it, it's not gonna change overnight but I'll get you into blends eventually 🤣
I’m guessing the grain will be predominantly North British which is half owned by Edrington.
Gap in the market for a high quality blend from one of the big guys along the lines of a TB BSW, MacLeans nose, Glasshouse etc, however if it ain’t telling me it’s non chill filtered and natural colour, they are missing the point.
I've since had Ardray message me to confirm NC & NCF, but still, it could do with being on the label

Beam Suntory have just dropped the Beam, they are just Suntory now.
Natural colour and non-chill filtered not mentioned on their website PLUS its £50 PLUS £10 TAX buddy plus postage in the UK. The postage is £4-80 so close to £65 for this bottle ermmm nope from me !!!
Yeah I mean as a 65 bottle it's a no. On Master of Malt it's £50 ish for me (and their brand rep confirms natural colour and NCF if that helps)
Not to make any statement automatically leads me to assume the whisky is chill filtered and added colour - so i stay well away from it. Its one of my basic rules.
I really don't get why they didn't put it on the label. They've confirmed that it is natural colour and NCF but still, proudly state it!
@@NoNonsenseWhisky Totally agree - surely they must realise that not to state this is losing them orders - as i said earlier, if it doesnt i wont buy it!
