Not to take away from your awe or the skill of the musicians… but playing from memory is the norm (and the expectation) at this level. Reading music is an important skill when it comes to getting an ensemble in sync and rehearsing… but true performance and interpretation can’t happen until the music is fully internalized. It’s very similar to actors in stage plays. Past a certain point the physical presence of the script just gets in the way.
Ravel famously didn't bother to arrange this movement for orchestra with the rest of the suite, saying it was too idiomatic for piano. But I'm sure he would have approved of this arrangement and performance. Congratulations and bravi tutti!

The sonorities are too ephemeral and short lived in this arrangement and in this setting to provide the ‘blossoming’ of sound that is needed in the climaxes though a recording of the performance may be more satisfying in that respect. That said these 3 guys are superb musicians and it was so beautifully executed.

I am not generally a fan of arrangements, but this is an EXCEPTIONALLY smart choice of a piano piece to translate to these percussion instruments. Although, you know, I used to try to play this on piano with only one person and you're taking three... But very well done indeed.
The most beautiful sound I've ever heard from percussion! And your logo contains three of the most beautiful colors I've ever seen from anyone. But ... your logo is 3 colors, yet your shirts here are only two, and the non-reds don't correspond at all (2 blue vs. yellow and green). If only your visuals matched as perfectly as your attacks! But on records, of course, that doesn't matter.
