Streamlined Summer at Spencer Shops: N.C. Transportation Museum 6/6/2024

Following my return to North Carolina from a four month stint in Florida, I made my way back to the N.C. Transportation Museum for a day of railroading. In a surprise twist, Southern E8 No. 6900 was on the day's on-site train ride, a rare occurrence, as the locomotive is usually found on various special event trains for the museum. All in all, it was a real treat to see such a rare locomotive on the train, and made for a perfect kick-off to the summer! So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the North Carolina Transportation Museum!
